Sarah Palin's book success is telling

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Sarah Palin's new book has broken all records for pre-sales. The book has not even hit the printers yet, and it is the top selling book in America at this moment. She has over a thousand requests for speeches and political appearances. Her popularity is growing, and is bigger than ever before.

Sarah Palin's popularity continues to take off like a rocket, and the liberal left remains in denial.

Hearing this, it got me to thinking. The liberals can't seem to keep their newspapers and magazines in business. Yet, Fox News has more viewers than MSNBC, CNN, and Headline News combined. Conservative talk radio dominates, and liberal Air America radio went bankrupt. Glenn Beck's book "Arguing With Idiots" is insanely popular just like his "fringe, right wing, lunatic show" (I am in the middle of the book now, by the way - phenomenally written).

And the leftists say that conservatives are a 1% fringe, and that the Republican Party lost the last election because it wasn't moderate enough.

It is time to ignore the idiots, and continue the work of deposing the socialist freak in the White House, and returning the Constitution to our American Form of Government.

Reagan won landslides because he ran on optimism, love for America, and Conservatism. I know there is not another Reagan out there, but to ignore the lessons of history is insane. The GOP lost in 2006 and 2008 because they have abandoned the party platform. They have erroneously believed the liberal left, and tried to become more moderate to win. Being "liberal-light" was a one way ticket to defeat. Conservatives stayed home, and independents refused to follow the Republicans because they stood for nothing.

Sarah Palin is a fresh voice of conservatism, and the people love her for it.

A concept that the Democrats remain in denial over.
