The joke goes that JaMarcus Russell is so bad, even Ryan Leaf thinks he sucks. JaMarcus Russell has been cut by the Oakland Raiders, and he may have been the biggest screwing a team has received from a player. . . ever.
I get why Al Davis retrieved Russell in the first place. Raiders football has always been down the field, and Russell could throw the ball long - but what good is throwing the ball long when the bulk of your completions are interceptions?
$36 million bucks later, a seven and eighteen record as a starter, and extra pounds around the gut, Jarmacus Russell is a very rich, lazy, former quarterback.
