Islam is not moderate. There may be moderate Muslims, but they sure as heck aren't doing anything to stop the ideology from forcing itself on the non-Muslim world. In Temecula, a mosque is planned as a symbol of superiority in the region. The Imam behind the mosque, however, claims he is only trying to provide a place for local Muslims to pray, and there is no violent jihadist connection. . . then in this interview on MSNBC he refuses to call Hamas a terrorist organization.
After you listen to the liberals proclaim how the mosques should be built because of freedom of religion, ask yourself, "Since when do the liberals care about the freedom of religion?"
They took prayer out of school, they want the Ten Commandments off of court houses, they challenge any cross that can be seen in the public right of way, they desire to remove In God We Trust from our money, take "Under God" out of the pledge. . . and suddenly when it comes to a religion that in its very nature is violent, fascist, and desires the destruction of America, they are for freedom of religion?
Maybe the liberals defend Islam because they share something in common - both liberals and Muslims hate America in its current form.

If the mosque in Temecula is being built for moderate Muslims, then why can't the Imam take a moderate position and agree that Hamas is a violent terrorist organization?
America is being invaded, and the mosques are recruiting and education centers for the hateful and violent ideology that desires to bring us down. When it comes to desiring the destruction of the U.S., the excuse that Islam is a religion stops holding any weight. Islam is a political ideology more dangerous than Nazism, and unless we wake up to that fact, there will be hell to pay.
