Despite Attacks, Herman Cain Has Gotten Stronger

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Herman Cain is believable. When he says he acted in an honorable manner, it is easy to believe him. Besides, none of the accusations are actually sexual in nature, and some of them are so outside Cain's character even his wife is rolling her eyes.

Now, that is not to say the allegations are not possibly true. Anything is possible, and nothing has been proven.

The real kicker is not the accusations, but how Cain has handled them. The attacks against him are right in line with the liberal left's normal tendency to level personal attacks against any successful conservative . . . especially a black man, who in the eyes of the democrats, should have never departed from the liberal plantation of welfare and entitlements.

So, when in the CNBC economic debate Cain was asked about the sexual harassment accusations, his answer was cheered by the audience.

Cain has grown stronger, despite the Left's attempt to bring him down.

And the attention is helping his campaign. . . and fund raising.
