Global Warming - Natural Cycle

By Douglas V. Gibbs

The concept of man-made global warming is a hoax. The planet has historically gone through cycles of warming and cooling that are much more drastic than the cycle we are currently experiencing. Greenland was once green, and the Vikings during that warming period actually had farming settlements on that large block of land to the north. The sun, volcanoes, surface temperature patterns, and various other factors contribute.

Below is a chart designed to show the natural cycles of warming and cooling:

The chart shows the Global Temperature Trends From 2500 B.C. To 2040 A.D.

Humanity's activities of producing "green house gases" has a minimal effect on global temperatures. Ice core samples have proven, anyhow, that increases in carbon dioxide occur after temperatures increase - showing that increased carbon in the atmosphere does not cause global warming. . . global warming causes an increase in carbon.

If anything, we are overdue for an ice age, as the natural cycles dictate. We are also much cooler than many periods in the past. The hysteria, therefore, regarding global warming, is not based on science fact as we have been told, but on political influence designed to control energy (hence, why I equate the EPA as a means of controlling energy use by Americans, in addition to the Energy Department) and ultimately create a centralized system of worldwide statism.

Climate Change, even if natural, can produce harsh conditions. We saw such changes when our planet moved from the Medieval Warm Period between 900 and 1300 A.D. to the sudden ‘Little Ice Age,’ which peaked in the 17th Century.

Humanity survived. Like the planet, we are not fragile. Like Earth, we were designed by God to endure hardship, and move forward and survive.

Global temperature chart was complied by Climatologist Cliff Harris that combined the following resources:
"Climate and the Affairs of Men" by Dr. Iben Browing.
"Climate...The Key to Understanding Business Cycles...The Raymond H. Wheeler Papers. By Michael Zahorchak
Weather Science Foundation Papers in Crystal Lake, Illinois.
