Rick Perry Would Get Rid of. . . . . . . . . . . 3 agencies

Perry kind of forgot the third agency, and had to be reminded. Is he really sincere? If he was wouldn't he have remembered all three easily?

I am not bothered by Perry saying those departments need to be eliminated. He's right. But, I think he is saying that because he thinks that is what everyone wants to hear. I don't believe he fully understands the true reasons why those departments are needed to be axed.

Commerce: The Commerce Clause is used wrong. If you read Madison's notes on the debates during the Constitutional Convention, as well as a number of the writings of the founders, you realize that the Commerce Clause was never meant to be used the way it is. The problem was that interstate commerce was not moving, so the founders wanted the federal government to act as a moderator, or referee, whenever the States found themselves in a disagreement over commerce. Either, the Commerce Department needs to be eliminated, or adjusted to reflect the original intent of the Founding Fathers.

Education: The federal government, as per the U.S. Constitution, has no authority to be involved in education. A federal system of education is in line with the aim of Marxism, allowing the statists to use education not as a system of learning, but to indoctrinate students in the way of leftism. Education should be administered locally, and should be heavily influenced by private schools and parental guidance.

EPA: As with education, energy is not something the federal government is constitutionally authorized to regulate. The danger of control by big government regulating the use of energy can be crippling to liberty. From the so-called "smart thermostats" to the man-made global warming myth, and the draconian regulations associated with that scam, the EPA is a disaster against freedom that needs to be eliminated in the worst way.

Perry may have been a doofus in his delivery, but he's right. . . I just don't think he knows why he's right.

Ouch! is right Rick. That was painful to watch. I feel bad for the guy, but what are you going to do when you can't remember which agency you want to axe? Definitely not presidential timber. Obama would unfortunately toast you in a debate.
