Republican Establishment Voter Fraud in Athens, Georgia

Athens, GA GOP meeting stonewalls Ron Paul delegates illegally, disobeying convention guidelines:

added note: I am not a Ron Paul fan, but voting fraud is voting fraud, and this is an example of the garbage the political establishment of both parties is capable, and more than willing, of doing.

I'm confused, Doug; does this mean that Newt Gingrich (the consummate insider who is selling himself as the ultimate outsider) constituted the "establishment" in Georgia (since he was favored to win there and did by a wide margin)? Or was the "establishment" trying to squelch RP for Romney's sake in the hopes of somehow overcoming Newt's overpoweringly Peachy manly swagger? Can you offer a plausible reason why the GOP "establishment" in Georgia would go to such lengths to vanquish the guaranteed cellar-dweller?

Personally, I think you're using the term "establishment" entirely too much (and entirely too much like a curse). But that's just me.

I am not going to pretend to know the reasoning for this, I don't. It may simply be because they think they can. I have a couple folks here that are trying to get on the central committee and they are outsiders. Unless you are a part of the Republican Party inner circle, the attacks are vicious, regardless of positions. I experienced the same when I ran for office. Either you are a part of the club playing ball, or you are drummed out. They get what they want, even if it means breaking the rules to do so.
