As the Egyptian Arab Spring was happening, we argued that this was dangerous. Removing Mubarak, as dastardly as the guy is, would open up the opportunity for the Muslim Brotherhood to gain control of Egypt.
And as predicted, that is exactly what is happening.
It is like deja vu. Carter did the same, practically handing Iran over to Islamism.
Israel sees the danger too, after the Muslim Brotherhood's big win in the recent Egyptian elections.
The IDF is positioning itself along the border, against the peace treaty, well knowing that the Muslim Brotherhood will break that treaty as soon as they see it as advantageous to them to do so.
