From a moral standpoint, I believe that life begins at conception. I mourn at the fact that we slaughter millions of unborn babies per year, 42 million worldwide per year, most of which are abortions of convenience. The argument is that it would be unfair to raise a child in a situation where they would be poor, or struggle because of the circumstances. . .
Read the profiles of great people - how many came from comfortable childhoods? The storms of the lives of these great people encouraged them to fight for better, to strive for success, to be winners.
I wonder because of abortions how many great people have we lost? Was one of those aborted babies a person that would find the cure to cancer? How many were the next great sports star, or a leader in freedom? How many would change history for the better? How many would be loving parents, or a blessed friend?
They all deserved the chance to live a life.
With that all said, let's look at this from a legal standpoint. In the United States the Constitution enumerates express powers to the federal government, and none of those authorities granted include medical procedures, or anything about abortion specifically. Since the authority is not granted to the federal government, and not prohibited to the States, it is a State issue (Tenth Amendment), therefore Roe v. Wade was unconstitutional, and any federal involvement in abortion is unconstitutional.
Knowing all of that, it is apparent, then, that any federal funding for abortions would be unconstitutional. In fact, any federal funding to any facility that exists for the purpose of medical procedures, or counseling, would be unconstitutional.
In addition to the unconstitutionality of federal funding for abortions, it also stands to reason that no American that is morally against the slaughter of the unborn should be forced to have their tax dollars spent on abortions.
Liberal leftists will argue that federal funding is not allowed, and that there is no federal funding of abortions going on. . .
Yet, a recent headline reads:
Obama Admin Sends $395K to Tennessee Planned Parenthood
Pro-life groups were up in arms over the news.
A quick dip into the history of Planned Parenthood reveals even more reasons why we should be appalled by the Obama administration's support of the organization.
Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger, a hard left progressive who inspired Adolf Hitler in his views of eugenics and "murdering socially undesirable people."
Margaret Sanger, through Planned Parenthood, advocated abortions on blacks in order to eliminate what she called "socially undesirable people". Yet, now, the first "black" President is funding the organization designed to slaughter blacks before they are born in order to eliminate the "undesirable people."
Sanger has achieved her goal, and the democrats, while claiming to be in the corner of minorities, has been in support of her sinister plans.
More blacks have been killed by abortion than by AIDS, accidents, violent crimes, cancer, and heart disease combined. In the United States a black child is three times more likely to be killed in the womb than a white child.
Since 1973, abortion has reduced the black population by over 25%.
The federal government is a part of the funding mechanism for the slaughter of babies, and more specifically the slaughter of black children before they reach life outside the womb. The federal government is supporting a slaughter that primarily targets blacks. Yet, they try to call their opposition the racists.
