"American Sniper"author Chris Kyle and his friend was shot by a semi-automatic handgun at a Texas gun range.
Notice the reminder by the press that it was a semi-automatic? Those ignorant of guns think it's some military style gun spraying bullets, or something. A semi-automatic simply means you only have to pull the trigger. The next bullet is in place without having to do anything but pull the trigger again. Two of my revolvers are considered semi-automatics.
I am thinking the leftists of the democrat party thinks its ironic the shooting happened at a gun range. I am wondering if there was a political motive in the choice of location.
The shooter has been identified as Eddie Ray Routh, and he arraigned early Sunday on two counts of capital murder.
No motive has been discovered, but the thinking is that he was suffering from some type of mental illness.
Pretty soon they will start determining that veterans with PTSD can't be armed.
Oh, wait, that's the assumption here!
The U.S. military has confirmed that Routh was a corporal in the Marines from June 2006 to January 2010. He was deployed to Iraq in 2007 and Haiti in 2010. His current duty status is listed as reserve.
Never underestimate the willingness of the liberals to find other ways to manipulate public opinion, and demonize our freedoms - like the right to keep and bear arms.
Kyle, a decorated veteran, wrote the best-selling book, "American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History," detailing his 150-plus kills of insurgents from 1999 to 2009. Kyle said in his book that Iraqi insurgents had put a bounty on his head. According to promotional information from book publisher William Morrow, Kyle deployed to Iraq four times.
