Zimmerman Not Guilty

By Douglas V. Gibbs

George Zimmerman claimed he shot Trayvon Martin in self-defense.  The Jury believed him.  Zimmerman has been found not guilty in the shooting death of the 17-year-old in a trial politically, and racially, charged.

The all female jury of six took a little over sixteen hours to make the decision, but have, so far, declined speaking with the media.

Though George Zimmerman will walk, his life will never be the same.  Thanks to racial division, driven by the Obama administration, he will be, as his brother put it, "looking around his shoulder for the rest of his life."

Tracy Martin, the mother of Trayvon, vowed not to give up.  Angry supporters of Martin collected outside the courthouse, responding with anger over the verdict, shouting "We want justice."

NAACP President Benjamin Todd Jealous said of the verdict, "We are outraged and heartbroken over today's verdict.  We stand with Trayvon's family, and we are called to act."

So far there has been no civil disturbances regarding the case.  We pray that our streets will remain peaceful.

Doug,

Grabbed the following off Right Wing News:

Civil Rights Prosecution of George Zimmerman by United States Department of Justice for death of Trayvon Martin

Petition Requesting Prosecution of George Zimmerman for depriving Trayvon Martin of his Constitutional Rights of Life and Liberty by the United States Department of Justice, Eric Holder, United States Attorney General in United States District Court as swiftly and expeditiously as is possible.

I just want to mention how out of whack this country has become as to "meting out justice". We all know this was a political persecution, one based on race and pushed by the vile racists such as Jess, Al and of course our President and his A.G. Our friends in the media called it racism from the start and had the man convicted from day one. Yet in the end, justice actually had a day in the sun, despite the best efforts of the left to ignore justice for personal or political gain (or in this case, keeping the flame alive for overt racism).

Now as I showed above, there is now a petition to persecute the man even more. Judge Jeannine last night noted one salient fact. The justice Dept. overstepped their bounds and allowed politics to guide them in forcing this trial. They were wrong! And now we're looking for trail via petition? What is wrong with this picture?

The sunday morning shows became a vent for the MSM to elaborate on why the verdict was wrong. Pinpointing the far-right as a racist fringe element. No respect to the MSM. No credibility to them. Norm Bryant
