Wasn't somebody talking about this just a day or so ago....?
This is not a suggestion of subsiding into a docile retreat and servility; quite the contrary. But the likelihood grows by the day that there will be a cost to "getting in their faces" that most of us don't realize, because I don't think any of us realize just how "against" us this Regime truly is - and they have the power, the police power, to enforce their wishes, and appear ever more willing and eager to use it.
Again, it's a matter of "in for a penny, in for a pound" (also a Sun Tzu concept, by the way). We're approaching the point, if we haven't passed it already, where forcing them to draw first blood - or, "going Kent State" - is the only alternative to - well, "subsiding into a docile retreat and servility."
Or the GOP could simply fold like a K-Mart deck chair in Shutdowngeddon and give O everything he wants. Then the Tea Party could attack them. And unlike the Regime, they're not heavily armed.
In which case, I hope O doesn't confiscate my chili cheese bacon dip, 'cause I won't be getting those Fritos.
