Al Qaeda Opens for Business in India

By Douglas V. Gibbs

My son asked me today, "Why don't you hear about Muslims killing Buddhists, or Hindus?  If it's just Jews and Christians, isn't it reasonable to ask what Christians and Jews did to piss Islam off?

He's a product of society, and it is all I can do to battle through the garbage that is implanted into his skull on a daily basis.

First of all, Islam is indeed a worldwide threat, but the media downplays other confrontations for the exact reason of trying to convince the public that Islam is committing jihad because "we" made them mad.  It has nothing to do with our attitude, and everything to do with who they are. Islam believes that Muslims are superior, and the world will become a massive Muslim caliphate.  It is about global control.

Christians and Jews, aside from media bias, are also often the among the primary targets of Islamists due to the connection to Abraham, and that Islam believes Allah is too holy to walk on human soil, and Christians believe Jesus was God in the flesh, making Christians the ultimate in blasphemers.

But back to my original point: Yes, other countries have the Muslim problems.  China has a Muslim problem with the Uyghurs.  In fact, eight Uyghurs were recently executed by the Chinese government for terrorism.

And now, in India, al Qaeda has set up a whole new operation.  Remember, Bangladesh and Pakistan were originally a part of India, and became dominantly Muslim and seceded from the larger country.

As a result of the rise of al Qaeda in India, the government has issued a security alert in the country.

In a video message, al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri said "al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent" would "raise the flag of jihad" across South Asia.

The weakness of the world leaders has emboldened Islam.  This is only the beginning.

Experts say this is a direct challenge being issued by al Qaeda to ISIS in Iraq.

Islamic militant groups operating in India are mostly connected to Kashmiri separatists and have links, tenuous at best, to al-Qaeda via Pakistan-based groups.

Kashmir is India's only Muslim-majority state, has a long history of violence between separatists and security forces, and has tens of thousands of troops stationed there.
