It's Getting Cold, While It's Warming

I was debating the man-made climate change hoax with a person that fully believes the global warming apocalypse is upon us, and I told him that scientists have determined that the planet is not only currently changing towards a cooling trend, but that global temperatures are based on natural cycles.  The political agenda behind the climate change hysteria is purely political, and purely false.

I then pointed out how the ice caps are not all liquid as Gore predicted, and that they have actually thickened and expanded.  He called me a liar, and a . . . well, I'll leave that language out of this post.

Then, after I pointed out that we've been having some cold winters, and this one is expected to be especially cold, he said, "You ignorant [expletive], Climate Change is not about weather, it's about overall global temperatures, and scientists say that the temperatures are rising faster than even originally expected."

The climate is not about weather?  Really?

I responded, "First of all, the Climate Change scientists have been proven to be manipulating the data.  It's a political agenda, and there is big money in being a global warming fanatic for these scientists.  Governments wanting to use the false data so that they can control energy usage are paying big bucks to these people to lie for them."

"The big money," he replied, "is in big oil, and big gas."

Because profit is such a bad thing?  I am surprised he didn't go all Soviet on me and call me a capitalist pig.

It must be amazing to be able to support a political agenda regarding temperatures, and a changing climate, with proof based on if it warms, or cools.  How convenient that man-made climate change is a disaster we can control (humanism over God?), all we have to do is give up our freedom regarding energy and let the tyrants take control of it (denial of the climate change reich is punishable by whatever they can throw at you), and it exists no matter the temperature, and irregardless of the fact that most scientists have admitted that the sun is the largest culprit in global temperature changes.

So, as it warms, and we increase temperature (because that is what they are telling us it is doing, as a chill fills the air), let's bask in the gripping heat that is causing absolutely freezing temperatures in some parts of the planet as we approach Autumn.
