When Amnesty Meets Invasion

by JASmius

Some intriguingly consistent and mutually reinforcing quotes for your morning contemplation....

Former Vice President Dick Cheney on Tuesday predicted there would be an attack on the United States within the next decade that is “far deadlier” than the September 11th, 2001, attacks.

“I doubt it,” Cheney told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, when asked if he thinks the U.S. would “get through this decade” without another “massive attack on the homeland.”

“I think there will be another attack. And the next time, I think it’s going to be far deadlier than the last one. Imagine what would happen if somebody could smuggle a nuclear device, put it in a shipping container, and drive it down the beltway outside Washington, D.C.”

Cheney is an optimist.  There's still over six years to go in this decade.  We'll be lucky to get through this calendar year without a 9/11-dwarfing attack on the homeland.

Wayne Allen Root, on the other hand, is a realist:

No, I’m not talking about the invasion of America by poverty-stricken illegal immigrants that will bust our budget and bankrupt this nation. That is clearly already happening.

No, I’m not talking about the threat of disease spreading across America, diseases that put our border guards and their families and eventually your children at risk. Planes are being chartered to move these sick illegal immigrants around America, to be deposited in your communities. If you get on that plane next, be ready for lice, scabies, or tuberculosis. It’s already happening.

I’m talking about a threat far more serious than those—terrorism. Do you think our radical Muslim enemies are blind? Stupid? They are not. They are brilliant fighters and strategists who adapt to our every move.

You don’t think they’ve noticed our southern border is wide open? You don’t think they are watching and learning? You don’t think they are sneaking teenage terrorists and suicide bombers into the United States right now? You don’t think they’re using the distraction of thousands of aliens crossing the border each day and overwhelmed, distracted, exhausted border guards as a “cover” to sneak a wave of suicide bombers by us right now? I’ll guarantee you it’s happening as we speak.

Hell, they don't even have to sneak in.  That's what happens when a country voluntarily erases its borders and invites the whole world to come and occupy it.

Which brings us to Dean Chambers, the "Jeremiah" in this particular trifecta:

Bare Naked Islam says, “If you think Obama’s Amnesty plan is about 13 million mostly Hispanic illegals, think again. Obama is flooding the country with Muslims – most with no real background checks – many of whom automatically get U.S. citizenship in just ten weeks after arrival.”

The site also, in the same article, stated, “Obama’s immigration bill and his ensuing amnesty are not mainly about the 13 million or so illegal Latinos in this country but it is the back door entrance for over one hundred million Muslims to be brought to the U.S. by 2018 - and, by some indications, such numbers could be as high as 150 million. Naturally, their presence would imply an intrinsic establishment of sharia law as the law of the American nation.” [emphases added]

The numbers sound a smidge far-fetched to me - okay, more than a smidge - but the policy does not.  Especially for an Obama third term, when even the gutted façade of the Constitution will be a distant memory and Barack Obama will be - what?  General Secretary?  Premier?  Supreme Leader?  American Caliph?  He won't need a hundred million Muslims here to justify imposing Sharia, because by Executive Decree there will be over three hundred million Muslims here, if you know what I mean.  Or maybe the thinking is that the vast majority of Americans will balk, after which O will request "assistance" from the Islamic State in "culling the infidel population," after which there will be plenty of room and resources for the Islamic "resettlement".

Sound crazy?  Paranoid?  Perhaps.  But after the Obama coup, sometime in the next couple of years, we will be amazed at all the unthinkables that will suddenly become possible.

If we're allowed to live that long.
