Kim Jong Un Reappears. . . With a Cane

The leader of the bark-eating world has reemerged, with a cane.  Unofficial speculation had indicated his disappearance was due to a bum ankle, and it turns out the unofficial story was the correct story.

The vanishing lasted almost six weeks, and you know how it is when people don't know the truth - they suspect the worst.  After rumors of a deathly illness, or a removal from his position by a coup, the pudgy dictator appeared for all to see limping along, and a little bit thinner.

Out and about before fully recovering, Kim's desire to quell the rumors is apparent.  Dictatorial rulers like to show that they are still fully in control.  Weakness invites problems, and emboldens enemies to take action against one's regime.  He may be limping, but Kim Jong Un is still marching to the communist tune of totalitarianism in North Korea.
