Obama Amnesty Decree Will "Defer" TWENTY Million Deportations

by JASmius

Remember how the Obama Regime always ludicrously lowballs the "official" (U3) unemployment rate by omitting part-time and "discouraged" workers from the ranks of the un/under-employed?  And how the Obama Regime always ridiculously inflates the first announcement of the previous quarter's GDP results and then very quietly walks them back over the ensuing two months, when nobody is paying attention?  And how last April Fool's Day (no accident there, I'm telling you), the Obama Regime announced that they'd reached their goal of seven million ObamaCare "enrollments," when the real number was anywhere from half to a tenth of that claim?

Well, Pinal County, Arizona, Sherriff Paul Babeu is now reporting that Barack Obama is unlawfully amnestizing four times as many illegal aliens as his Regime has publicly admitted - and that number comes from an (heh) "unimpeachable" source:

As many as twenty million undocumented immigrants will qualify for President Barack Obama's deferred deportation action, says Paul Babeu, sheriff of Pinal County, Arizona.

The number would be an alarming increase from the estimated 5 million initially expected to qualify under the executive action.

But in a Monday interview on Fox News' "Your World With Neil Cavuto," Babeu contended that the new figure came directly from Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson. [emphasis added]

You always have to wait for the other shoe to drop with this White House, and peek under every last shell, because they will never, EVER give you the full, straightforward, honest story on anything.

"The fact is, it's not just the five million that President Obama promised, we learned that Jeh Johnson, the Secretary of Homeland Security, put out a six-page memo and he said that anybody who's been here since January of this year, anybody prior to that date, they are allowed to stay here. There will be deferred action," Babeu told Cavuto.

I'm guessing that memo was not intended for public dissemination.

"This number that President Obama promised would be five million is now twenty million illegals."

From "bad enough" to "insane," especially given that the "official" number of illegals in the country we're always fed is approximately twelve million.

Asked to clarify how he knows the number jumped to twenty million, Babeu insisted it was straight from Johnson.

"President Obama said on TV, 'if you've been here five years or more, there will be deferred action, that you'll be given a work permit, a driver's license, [voter registration cards,] all access to our social programs,'" Babeu explained.

"But Jeh Johnson, the very same day, put out a memo directed to all twenty-three agencies under the Department of Homeland Security saying that any illegal who's been here this year as of January of 2014, they are entitled to this deferred action."

Let's do a little arithmetic, shall we?  In the recent 2014 midterm elections, tallying all the votes nationwide, Republicans received 4,497,842 more votes than did Democrats.  Now take the five million illegal aliens figure that O has claimed his unlawful edict will amnestize and apply the previously polled 8-1 margin at which illegals vote Democrat.  That's a net gain for the jackasses of approximately 3.9 million votes.  Think that might have saved a few "red"-state Democrat Senate incumbents on November 4th?  It would have tipped, as another example, the 2004 presidential election to John Kerry (President Bush won re-election by 3,012,166 votes, the only presidential election since 1988 in which the GOP candidate has won the popular vote).

Now quadruple that 3.9 million pro-Democrat illegal vote margin.  15.6 million additional Democrat votes every two years.  Democrats running up 3-1 or more margins in the House and Senate - maybe shutting out Republicans entirely.  Take any recent presidential election and add six percentage points to the Democrat and subtract the same from the Republican:

Clinton 49%, Bush(41) 32%
Clinton 55%, Dole 35%
Gore 54%, Bush(43) 42%
Gore 54%, McCain (?) 45%
Obama 59%, Romney (?) 40%
Obama 58%, (Gingrich?  Santorum?) 41%

For those of you who think I exaggerate when I make reference to Obamnesty turning every "red" state "blue," I hope this opens your eyes.  The electoral deck would be so stacked against the Right that had that been the case looking back, the GOP would have won only two presidential elections in the past sixty years - the Nixon and Reagan landslides in 1972 and 1984, respectively.  And those were re-election campaigns; in their first winning runs for the White House, both Tricky Dick and the Gipper would have been defeated.  Even Dwight Eisenhower would have narrowly lost to Adlai Stevenson in 1952.  Calvin Coolidge's 1924 election would have been thrown into a "blue" House.  You'd have to go back to Warren Harding's election in 1920 to find a Republican victory by a big enough margin to offset the electoral advantage that Barack Obama is cooking up for his party going forward.

Can a major political party survive when its frequency of national victories is one per century?  Probably not.

And just think: John Boehner, Kevin McCarthy, Steve Scalise, et al actually concluded that that inevitable political extinction was less of a threat to Republican prospects than a short-term government shutdown on this very same issue with three-quarters of today's voting public resoundingly behind them.

Added Sherriff Babeu:

Babeu said that interpretation would surely mean the situation for states along the nation's southern border "is going to get worse"

"It sends the wrong message," he said. "It's a big neon sign flashing … that make it to the border and you're home free."

Indeed.  Which means that 15.6 million figure will become more like thirty million, forty million, or more.  Or at least until the Golden Goose finally has a coronary, and the influx becomes an exodus.

But I imagine Democrats can "get by" with "only" ten or fifteen million illegal extra votes.  I mean, it's not like Republicans would know what to do with them anyway.
