Colorado HomoBakery Sued For Refusing To Make Bible Cakes

by JASmius

Could the complaintant have found a bakery that would make Bible-shaped cakes?  Sure he could, just like the homosexual couplings that have ruined several Christian bakeries around the country could have found outlets to cater to their "unity ceremonies" or whatever the heck they call them.  In an ideal world, we would live and let live.

But we have the world the homofascists have created, and what's sauce for the goose.....

Although it must be pointed out that the instigator in this case, if the defendant is telling the truth, quite clearly is not a Christian:

A customer came into the store and requested a couple of cakes in the shape of Bibles, according to owner Marjorie Silva.

So far, so good.

Silva says the man pulled out a piece of paper with hateful phrases like “God hates gays” and requested her to write them on his cakes. He wouldn’t let employees make a copy of the paper and would not read the words out loud, Silva claims.

There are two ways to look at this part of Miss Silva's claim.  If it's true, than guess what?  I wouldn't have made his cake either, because God most certainly does not "hate gays".  He does hate their sin, but then guess what?  "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."  We are, each and every last one of us, equal opportunity sinners and He's an equal opportunity Savior.

But that begs the question of whether Miss Silva is telling the truth, doesn't it?  She's making an accusation for which she's providing nothing but heresay evidence.  It's almost as if a believer challenged her and she's reflexively smearing him in order to save her own Christophobic ass.

The bakery owner also says the customer wanted an image of two men holding hands with an “X” on top.

“After I read it, I was like ‘No way,'” Silva said. “‘We’re not doing this. This is just very discriminatory and hateful.'”

Right back 'atcha, Marjorie.  Your credibility is decidedly suspect right now, in my estimation.

Silva then received a complaint from DORA for religious discrimination.

“It’s unfair that he’s accusing me of discriminating when I think he was the one that is discriminating,” Silva said.

Boo-hoo.  How my heart doesn't bleed for you, Miss Silva.

Actually, I'm eye-buggingly amazed that Colorado's Department of Regulatory Agency issued the complaint.  Perhaps they didn't take her story about the "God hates gays" slip seriously, either.  Maybe there still is such a thing as "overplaying your hand".

But then I'm sure there's an app for it.  Heck, there are apps for everything, even casual sodomy.  Just ask the Obama Regime:

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has spent nearly a half a million dollars studying gay hookup apps such as Grindr.

Their name for it, not mine, folks.  You really can't make this stuff up, because they do it before we can "homophobically" parody it.

The government awarded $432,000 to Columbia University to interview gay men who use GPS dating apps and determine whether it increases their likelihood of engaging in risky sexual behavior. “Smartphone technologies have provided a new venue for sexual partnering among men who have sex with men (MSM),” the grant for the project states. “Indeed, there are a rapidly growing number of smartphone applications designed to facilitate sexual partnering among MSM.”

The project argues that dating apps that use the Global Positioning System, or GPS, has “accelerated” the rate that gay men can find sexual partners, compared to online.

Kinda gives the lie to the rationale and justification for homosexual "marriage," doesn't it?  But then again, why would as professedly homophilic a ruling junta as the Obamunists have any interest in tracking, or even acknowledging, actual homosexual behavior, much less its "riskiness"?  Wouldn't that be "homophobic" by their own definition?  Is this the ten billion and fourth instance of White House hypocrisy?  Or are they having Columbia University study "Grindr" in order to facilitate ever-easier "hookup" processes for pole-smokers from sea to Crisco sea?

Yes, that is another of my trademark rhetorical questions.

All I know is, I could have put that 432 grand to a lot better use paying my bills and feeding my family for the rest of my life.  Heck, I might even have sprung for a Bible-shaped cake.

Exit question: Does anybody else find it hugely snicker-inducing that the initials for "Men who have Sex with Men" are....MSM?

"Snicker-inducing"? Really, Doug? That's kind of immature humor, isn't it?

But yes, it is, and I find it every bit as amusing as you - in fact, that was my first thought when I saw the acronym for it earlier in the post ...

That was my post, Cary. And I find the humor far more....*ironic* than immature.

Sorry, missed the byline.

Yes, ironic crossed the mind also.
