Common Core Written To "End White Privilege"

by JASmius

Yet another example of how arrogantly candid leftwingnuts become about their true noxious, despicable motivations after they are convinced they've irretrievably "won":

A teacher who wrote much of the controversial Common Core State Standards informed a shocked audience that he was motivated to do so because he wanted to end “White privilege.”

Dr. David Pook, a professor at Granite State College and chair of the history department at the Derryfield School in Manchester, New Hampshire, had just been introduced at the event at New Hampshire Institute of Politics on Monday night when he delved into his ties to Common Core.

“The reason why I helped write the standards and the reason why I am here today is that as a white male in society I am given a lot of privilege that I didn't earn,” he said.

It's more accurate to say that he has flagrantly abused that privilege to betray students of all "ethnic persuasions".

In the video posted by Campus Reform, the audience can be heard gasping and laughing, stunned and revolted by the comment that exposed the disturbing, left-wing racial motivations of ‘Common Core” propaganda.

Sera Wilson has the punchline:

The irony behind Dr. Pook’s involvement in the development of the common core standard is that Derryfield School which employees Pook does not use common core as they view the standard as inferior according to Campus Reform. Additionally, since implementation of common core there has been a marked decline in test scores of black and hispanic students. [emphasis added]

Common Core has nothing primarily to do with screwing Whitey, unless "Dr." Pook is admitting he's a racist by justifying the victimization of minority students right alongside their cracker classmates on the grounds of his own ersatz "white guilt".  Common Core is about preventing the genuine education of the "youts" of America, first, foremost, and, well, "core" of which is teaching the young how to think, not what to think.  Inculcate the former and the latter is much more likely to take care of itself, when accompanied by the impartation of ALL of American history - from the very beginning with the Founding Fathers, the American Revolution, the U.S. Constitution and its original meaning, straight on through to the present day.  All the facts, warts and wonder and everything in-between, not just ideological cherry-picking.  Ditto English composition and literature - the classics as well as the contemporary, and the mechanics of mathematics versus the virtual arithmetical seances they're holding now, all of which is designed to be one more factor irrelevantizing parents and herding children into becoming de facto wards of the Obamunist state.

If "white privilege" is being an educated, independent, free-thinking citizen - and that's the implication of "Dr." Pook's rant - what could possibly be wrong with that?
