Fox: Still The Most Trusted Name In News

by JASmius

Not exactly a newsflash itself, admittedly.  And not really saying all that much in reality, since Fox is the only outlet on television, network or cable, where objective journalism is actually practiced.  Which is to say, Fox is the best news source by default:

Fox News has the most trusted network and cable news coverage in the United States, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released Monday. But network TV is much less trustworthy than it was in the days of Walter Cronkite, American voters say.

Back in the days when the American public did not yet know that their brains were being held hostage by leftwing propaganda.

In comparison rankings, 29% responded that they trust Fox News the most. CNN follows with 22%, CBS News and NBC News are at 10%, ABC News at 8% and MSNBC at 7%.

Among Republican voters, 58% say they trust Fox News the most, with 13% favoring CNN, 7% for NBC and CBS, 5% for ABC and 2% for MSNBC.

With Democrats, CNN is the top choice with 32%, 15% for NBC, 14% for CBS and MSNBC, and 8% for ABC. Only 3% trust Fox News most.

The poll, conducted February 26th - March 2nd, polled 1,286 registered voters nationwide via landlines and cellphones, with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.7 percentage points.

Not all that surprising a respective set of distributions.  The Donks have a wide array - basically, every other network - of media choices that will feed their prejudices and marinate them in their partisan, tribal bigotries, hatreds, and lies, and so preferences are spread fairly evenly across them.  Whereas GOPers really only have one outlet that actually reports the news and doesn't run interference for the Regime.

And really, that is, ironically, an improvement that the Age Of The One has unwittingly affected in contemporary media.  Time was, decades ago, when there was never any attempt on the part of reporters and journalists to deny that they had a point of view, to insist that they were "objective," straight-shooters who called it "right down the middle" and ciphered daily events to readers and viewers "the way it is".  Each big city had its Republican paper and its Democrat paper.  It was truth in advertising.  And then, in the middle of the last century, the Left took over the media under the guise of a feigned "objectivity" that never existed, and the un-vigilant public fell under the sway of a leftwing propaganda indoctrination they didn't realize was re-programming them against their own values and beliefs, paving the way for the creeping, and now galloping, communization of their country.

T'is a pity that We, The People - or half of us, anyway - have awakened far, far too late to turn things around.  But that awakening is what the Q-poll indicates.  People once again know where to go if they want the truth, and where to go if they want mule fritters.

Doesn't mean the Obamedia isn't still dominant, as the last two presidential elections depressingly illustrated.  But at least we're being marched off to the Alaska Gulag with our eyes wide open.  The other side, on the other hand, will never know what hit them.
