"No Whites Allowed" @ "#BlackLivesMatter" Public School Event

by JASmius

But remember, gentlewhites, it's not segregation when blacks exclude us, and if you think otherwise, you're a "racist":

A Black History Month event at Oak Park and River Forest High School may have kick-started a school-wide discussion on race — but not in the way school officials intended.

Because it's okay if whites are treated like second-class citizens, because by definition, whites are never not "privileged" over blacks, so we "deserve" to be discriminated against.

Several white parents, none of whom would speak on the record....

For fear of being vilified as racists, of course.

....expressed confusion and dismay that their children were prevented from participating in a “Black Lives Matter” event February 27th that was limited to black students only.

I'm not sure why, to be honest.  The only purpose I can see to the school allowing white students to attend would have been to provide hammer targets for their black classmates.

The white parents reported that their students were turned away when they tried to attend the Black Lives Matter event. The parents said they were offended that in a school and community that prides itself on diversity and inclusion that students who wanted to attend would be excluded.

The parents obviously don't understand that the terms "diversity" and "inclusion" mean "black supremacism".  Have for a long time now, actually.  It's just never been so overt as under Barack Obama and since the Ferguson insurrection.

But school Principal Nathaniel Rouse, who organized the event and is black, said that wasn’t the intent. “First and foremost, this is not meant to give a connotation that we were trying to be exclusive,” Rouse said.

Yeah, cracker parents, don't believe Principal Rouse's actions, believe his lying words.

In the spirit of District 200’s five-year strategic plan, which has a running theme of racial equity, Rouse decided to host the Black Lives Matter event.

Reverse-segregation has a "five-year strategic plan"?  How very racistly soviet socialist of them.

Rouse, who has been principal at the school for seven years, said the decision to allow only black students was based in an idea known as affinity grouping.

Because only whites practice segregation, even though we don't.

In an affinity group, the philosophy is that students of one racial persuasion are able to express themselves fully and safely.

So much for Eric  Holder's "national conversation on race".  Which was always intended to be a black lecture to whites expected to sit down and shut up.

“In order for us to move forward, I believe the affinity group is the safe way for us to move forward in a safe environment,” he said.

And treat whites like second-class citizens.  Because we've "got it coming".

Though the affinity groups began with black students, Rouse said he hopes to have similar groups in the near future for white, Latino and Asian students.

A "#WhiteLivesMatter" whites-only event?  Seriously?  That'll be the day.

Exit question: How much would you be willing to bet that white students would be barred from it?
