Barack Obama wants what Barack Obama wants. And Barack Obama gets what Barack Obama wants. Always. Whatever it takes. The law and the Constitution and Congress and the courts and the voters be damned. He is, after all, the dictator of the United Soviet Socialist States of Obamerikastan.
Domestically, this presents no problems. The entire GOP is a quivering mass of pathetic neuroses and terror, completely Stockholm-syndromed into submission. The judiciary, long the preferred avenue of the Left's extralegal imposition of their extremist anti-American agenda that they could never get through the constitutional legislative process, is now showing signs of using that unconstitutional excess of power to impede the relentless march of the Obamunist Agenda on its twin crown jewels of ObamaCare and Obamnesy. So the courts will now simply be bypassed as well. Because, after all, federal judges at all levels are subordinate to, and work for, Barack Hussein Obama, just like Congress does. Right?
But there is one man, and now one country, that refuses to march to Red Barry's fife: Israel and its defiantly-reelected Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
Barack Obama is a flaming anti-Semite. He was raised by Islamic Fundamentalists and communists. He marinated in Jeremiah Wright's Jew-hatred for the bulk of his adult life. His Regime is shot through with Palestinian and Muslim Brotherhood operatives. His Middle East policy might as well be being made in Gaza City.
The Israelis are supposed to dociley do what The One tells them to do and lay down and die. Let Hamas have Gaza AND the West Bank and then allow them to roll right over the top of them and shove them into the sea, followed by the most horrific Holocaust sequel since....well, 1945. And then allow the Iranian mullahgarchy and their nukes deliver the Final Solution coup de grace, ushering in a supposed golden, Jew-free age of "peace".
But God's chosen people are a stubborn bunch. Must be something to do with the shared ethnic memory of being without a country for almost two millenia and then being nearly wiped out, systematically, as a people by the Nazis, the closest the Jews have come to genocide since Haman's plot in the Book of Esther. Since they miraculously regained their ancient homeland in 1948, they have vowed that they are not going down again, and if they do, they'll take their enemies down with them.
A couple of days ago, Israeli voters were supposed to go to the polls, follow Barack Obama's orders, and throw out Benjamin Netanyahu and Likud. Instead, they gave both an even bigger majority.
To his infernal majesty, this was the ultimate middle finger. It was the ultimate affront. It was the worst sort of defiance.
And since he will not tolerate such defiance, especially from a people he bigotedly loathes, and his Middle East policy is made in Gaza City, he is preparing to cut Israel out of the "peace" process and "negotiate" directly with Hamas:
Shortly before this week’s election, the United States informed its diplomatic partners that it would hold off any moves in the U.N. Security Council designed to put Israel on the spot at the United Nations in the event that Netanyahu’s challenger, Isaac Herzog, won the election. But U.S. officials signaled a willingness to consider a U.N. resolution in the event that Netanyahu was re-elected and formed a coalition government opposed to peace talks. The United States has not yet circulated a draft, but diplomats say Washington has set some red lines and is unwilling to agree to set a fixed deadline for political talks to conclude.
“The more the new government veers to the right the more likely you will see something in New York,” said a Western diplomat.
The consequences of such an unprecedented betrayal are not difficult to predict:
Except it would be open season on Israel not just for Hamas; it would be open season on Israel for ALL its enemies. Hezbollah, Syria, the Islamic State, Iran, Egypt should the Obama Regime succeed in overthrowing President al-Sisi and returning the Muslim Brotherhood to power in Cairo. This guarantees an escalation towards war, even nuclear war, in the Middle East.
But remember, for Barack Obama, this would be a "just" war because it would have the "right" victim: a country and a people he hates who committed the unforgivable sin of existing and defying him.
The thing about it is, the U.S. would not escape this war. Because, back in reality, Israel's enemies are America's (if not Obama's) enemies. Always have been, always will be. Indeed, Islamic Fundies see Israel as a projection of American power in the heart of "their" territory, which is another reason why The One would just as soon see Israel vanish from the map. And once those enemies are finished with the Jews, they will keep coming after us. There is a reason, after all, why their call it a "Global" Caliphate.
Happily, God's Word tells us that once Israel was restored as a nation in its ancient homeland, it will never be scattered or defeated again. So the Jewish State we see today is there to stay.
As for the United States, which twice elected an avowed enemy of Israel and is now trying to do everything possible to destroy her short of direct military attack (and that's still a possibility), we're not going to be so lucky:
Now the LORD said to Abram,
“Go forth from your country, and from your relatives, and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you; and I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and so you shall be a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of Earth will be blessed.” [emphasis added]
Say what you will, but the rise and fall of empires down through history can be traced to how they treated the Jews in their midst and under their jurisdiction. America has been blessed beyond measure and was raised up as a global megapower due in no small part to the fact that we have been not only Israel's friend but also her ally and benefactor. Now the POTUS We, The People foolishly (and allegedly) twice elected has turned on the Jews. And that's gonna suck for us, if history is any guide - and it is.
Barack Obama is insistent on turning Israel into the twenty-first century Czechoslovakia. Too bad for him that Benjamin Netanyahu is no Jan Syrový.
