It's just that their "merit badges" - and "recruitment" methods - are a wee bit different:

ISIS reportedly stormed a number of schools on Sunday in al-Qayyarah, al-Shura, Badoush and al-Baaj neighbourhoods of [Mosul], located four hundred kilometers [two hundred forty four miles] from Baghdad and loaded the children into military trucks. The children who were taken away from their respective schools in the southern and western districts on Sunday, are being trained at the ISIS cub camps.

In ISIS-controlled areas, the militant group has special training schools for children where they are brainwashed and desensitized.

In these Islamic boot camps, referred to as “Cubs of Islamic State” or “Cubs of al-Baghdadi”, children are given weapons training and taught how to be a suicide bomber. And to graduate from the school, the Cubs of al-Baghdadi have to behead someone. [emphasis added]

I'm guessing the only rope-tying knot they learn is how to braid a noose.

Reportedly the reason for this mounting Islamic Hitler Youth assimilation drive is that the Iranians and their Shiite Iraqi vassal state are slowly pushing Islamic State forces back, having most recently taken Saddam Hussein's hometown of Tikrit.  How that does Tikrities any favors is more than a little baffling, as it's akin to taking off one's jacket, turning it inside out, and putting it right back on again.  Instead of being ruled by bloodthirsty maniacs bent on global conquest, Tikrit has been "liberated" by....bloodthirsty maniacs bent on global conquest....who speak Farsi, I guess.  And stone "infidels" and hurl them off of buildings instead of beheading, crucifying, and immolating them.  This is an improvement?

Only thing it does guarantee is that Iraq and Syria, and the broader Middle East, will remain under jihadist control.  Which is the only thing Barack Obama cares about, while being, he thinks, able to claim that he's still "fighting ISIS" by way of his bosom buddies in Tehran, for whose "allied" efforts he is rewarding them with his blessing upon their nuclear weapons program that will be used to wipe out Israel, Europe, and the United States.

Kinda makes ISIS's "scouting program" look almost tolerable by comparison, doesn't it?
