Federal Judge Orders California To Sexually Mutilate Tranny Killer

by JASmius

Because....why?  He needs a date?:

A federal judge in San Francisco....

Of course <eyeroll>.

....on Thursday ruled that California must provide "sex reassignment" surgery to a transgender inmate, calling denial of the procedure a violation of constitutional rights.

On what grounds?  That the Founding Fathers wore powdered wigs?

U.S. District Judge Jon Tigar....

NOT this one....

....wrote in his thirty-eight-page order....

It took thirty-eight pages to say "Give the poor whatever an addacunttome"?

....that the state was violating the constitutional rights of Michelle-Lael Norsworthy, who was convicted of second-degree murder in April 1987, by not providing the operation.

Well, THAT's a jurisprudential "penumbra" that has heretofore remained blessedly unfathomed.

Norsworthy, 51, was born Jeffrey Norsworthy.

Which is to say, HE IS Jeffery Norsworthy, as HE will forever genetically be.  Also, that HE has quite obviously dropped the soap several times too many.

[H]e is serving a sentence of seventeen years to life at Mule Creek State Prison in Ione, California. [H]e began identifying as a transgender "woman" in the mid-1990s and was diagnosed with the condition in January 2000.

Which should have led to the conclusion that HE was mad as a hatter and gotten HIM thrown into the prison loony bin.

The operation would be the first in state prison history....

The first of many, that is.

....and could cost as much as $100,000, California Corrections Health Care Services spokeswoman Joyce Hayhoe told the Los Angeles Times.

A federal judge in Boston issued a first-of-its-kind ruling in 2012, ordering the state’s prison system to pay for the sex change surgery of [Michael] Kosilek, who is serving a life sentence for murder. Overturned in December, the ruling was appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.

How outrageously twisted is this court order?  California - CALIFORNIA! - is considering appealing it.  Probably not for long, and in only a token sense, but still....

For any still-sane Gollyfornians - and, believe it or not, there are some - do you relish the prospect of your crazy State fiscally capsizing even faster by subsidizing a convict sexual mutilation assembly line?  Because Mr. Norsworthy will be but the first of many, many to come.
