Scott Walker Has A Koch & A Smile

by JASmius

It's not yet a formal endorsement, but this welcome handwriting is already on the wall:

Charles and David Koch, the billionaire brothers who back conservative causes and candidates, say they are waiting to endorse a GOP candidate to the White House, despite comments at a New York event on Monday supporting Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

"We will support whoever the candidate is, but it should be Scott Walker," David Koch said at a fundraising event for the state GOP in Manhattan, the New York Times reported.

But in a statement sent to Newsmax on Tuesday, a spokesperson [for] the brothers said they have yet to throw their support behind any candidate.

"While I think Governor Walker is terrific, let me be clear, I am not endorsing or supporting any candidate for President at this point in time," David Koch said.

Not "officially," anyway.  Kind of like Governor Walker hasn't "officially" announced his presidential candidacy.  But everybody knows he's going to run (One of us knew it a year and a half ago), and "the candidate should be Scott Walker" pretty clearly indicates who the Kochs favor in 2016.  They're simply not burning their bridges behind them right now.  But both really are mere formalities.

I can't wait to see what Harry (G)Reid has to say about this....
