The Bacon Mosque

by JASmius

I could just post this pic and it would be more than sufficient, wouldn't it?

The kicker is the, shall we say, "religious persuasion" of who likely put it there, and why:

Police in Edmond, Oklahoma, have not identified any suspects in connection with the reported placement of raw bacon on the door handles of a mosque.

Officers were called Sunday afternoon to the Islamic Society of Edmond, where a mosque trustee reported that “someone put uncooked bacon on the door handles of the men's and women's mosques” earlier in the day.

Muslims are prohibited from consuming bacon and other pork products.

The mosque official, who contacted police at 4 PM, told officers that the vandalism was discovered at 10 AM. An Edmond Police Department report does not indicate why six hours passed before the incident was reported to law enforcement.

Before cleaning up the bacon, mosque members photographed the door handles. The images, including the one above, were subsequently provided to police and the Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which has called for a federal hate crimes investigation of the vandalism. [emphases added]

First of all, when vandalism is discovered, don't its victims tend to call the police right away?  As opposed to waiting for six hours?  A stretch of time that was more than sufficient for the "mosque trustees" to take numerous pictures of the bacon (mmmm, bacon) and contact CAIR and start beating the PR drums about this "hate crime".  You could almost conclude that the whole thing is a hoax in order to drum up PC sympathy about America's intractable, ubiquitous "Islamophobia".  Which, in turn, suggests that it was Muslims themselves who slapped the bacon (mmmm, bacon) on the mosque's door handles.

It's particularly ironic given the ubiquity of Muslim vandalism of Christian churches.

Might I suggest a compromise?  Send the bacon to me.  I'm sure I can find a beach on which to fry it up and devour it.  The "Muzzies" won't know what they're missing.
