Communist Democrats

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Aaron Klein has written on World Net Daily that the similarities between a "Progressive Agenda" unveiled by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, something the liberal leftists in the Democrat Party have been touting as the liberal “Contract with America,” is hauntingly similar to the manifestos and literature of the Communist Party USA and the Socialist Party USA.  This is no surprise.  We have come to expect the progressive game-plan, or in this case, “The Progressive Agenda to Combat Income Inequality,” to be much like communism.  The Democrat Party is full of communists, and anymore, they are pretty close to being completely communist.  To these people, it doesn't matter that a free market capitalist system is what has made America the most prosperous country in the world.  Their agenda is more important than what's best for individuals, or for America.  Theirs is a desire for Karl Marx's communal utopia, a condition that can never be reached, and must be attempted to be forced into place by tyranny and bondage.

We are no stranger to Marx's Ten Planks of Communism.  A friend of mine recently pointed out to me that each of the Ten Planks of Communism are Federal Departments.

Really?  I think it goes deeper than that.

#1 Communist Manifesto Plank: Abolition of private property and the application of all rents of land to public purposes.

- We saw this first hand with the Bundy Ranch standoff in Nevada on April 12, 2014 when protesters, in support of rancher Cliven Bundy, went nose to nose with the Bureau of Land Management, until the federal agents backed down.  The abolition of private property in America began with various zoning laws, and property taxes.  Now, through environmentalism laws, land is being taken away for conservation, and sustainable development, in line with United Nations resolutions.  Federal control over lands is an overstepping of their authorities.  Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution, in the second to final clause in that Section, limits federal land ownership to properties "purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards, and other needful buildings."  Any time the federal government confiscates land, or takes control of land without approval by the State legislature, without paying for it, and/or for any purpose other than the erection of needful buildings, it is unconstitutional.

#2 Communist Manifesto Plank: A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
- Thanks to direct taxation introduced by the 16th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution in 1913, the Social Security Act of 1936, and the introduction of federal income tax withholding from our paychecks during the 1930s under Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the evolution of the progressive tax rate has nearly reached its goal.  The more money you make, the heavier your percentage becomes.  Now, in an effort to make sure the rich "pay their fair share," many of the tax breaks used by folks are being eliminated.  Progressive tax rates also exist in Corporate Taxes.  A progressive tax rate doesn't stop with the unconstitutional Internal Revenue Service.  In my own City of Murrieta, the Business Tax (Business License) is also a graduated tax, with the fee increasing as the receipts of your business increases.  I'll bet, however, some of the folks who voted that into place didn't realize they were acting like communists.  Some of them, fearfully, were fully aware.

#3 Communist Manifesto Plank: Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

- The death tax is always a battle, and if it was up to Democrats, you would not be able to inherit anything.  In 2012, Democrats tried to hike the inheritance tax up to 55%.  In President Obama's 2015 State of the Union Address, he called for doubling the death tax.  When I inherited a piece of property from my father after he passed away, a piece of land that is the only legacy he left behind for me, and one my children have come to appreciate, if the value of that land had been much higher, I would have never been able to afford the tax, and would have been forced to sell it - and the last piece of my father, and the legacy of our family that could be handed down each generation, would have been lost forever.

#4 Communist Manifesto Plank: Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.

- Government seizures and tax liens are unconstitutionally allowed by Public "law" 99-570 (1986); Executive order 11490, sections 1205, 2002 which gives private land to the Department of Urban Development; the imprisonment of "terrorists" and those who speak out or write against the "government" (1997 Crime/Terrorist Bill); or the IRS confiscation of property without due process. Asset forfeiture laws are used by DEA, IRS, ATF etc...).  But it goes deeper than that of late.  With calls for gun control, and the labeling of constitutionalists, Tea Party activists, and other republicans that dare to cling to their Bibles and guns, as domestic terrorists, your personal property that is in the form of a firearm is now being targeted for confiscation.  The goal of gun control is to eventually confiscate all guns, former New York Mayor Bloomberg has been quite clear on that.  At what point will your rebellious literature, such as books written by conservative authors, be subject to confiscation as well?  Eventually, all property will be subject to seizure if you dare stand against the regime.

#5 Communist Manifesto Plank: Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
- The Federal Reserve, which is a privately-owned credit/debt system allowed by the Federal Reserve act of 1913, was one of the initial steps in that direction.  All local banks are members of the Federal system, and are regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) another privately-owned corporation. The Federal Reserve Banks issue Fiat Paper Money and practice economically destructive fractional reserve banking.  During the Obama administration, the Democrats took steps to further that control, through Dodd-Frank, and Credit Card Reform in 2009.

#6 Communist Manifesto Plank: Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State.

- In 2015 the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), despite opposition by the voting public, and the courts, grabbed control of the internet in 2015.  The power grab was the first step by the FCC to eventually take complete control, and manage communications fully by federal fiat.  The FCC and Department of Transportation (DOT) are mandated through the ICC act of 1887, the Commissions Act of 1934, The Interstate Commerce Commission established in 1938, The Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Communications Commission, and Executive orders 11490, 10999, as well as State mandated driver's licenses and Department of Transportation regulations.

#7 Communist Manifesto Plank: Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.

- In California an entire region, once known as "America's Breadbasket," has been turned into a dust bowl.  The federal government has killed the farming industry in the Central Valley, and in 2012, President Obama said he would veto any bill that would send water to the region (in the name of saving a little fish, the Delta Smelt).  Due to mismanagement at the State level, primarily under the threat of litigation by environmentalist groups, California has too few reservoirs, canals, ducts, and other water storage and transportation systems, and now that there is a drought, Californians are suffering, and are being forced into water rationing.  The allowance for the federal government to commit such acts against the people began with The Desert Entry Act and The Department of Agriculture.  The federal government controls and subsidizes in an attempt to use their agenda by force to bring these lands into accordance with their agenda.  We can also throw in there the Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Interior, the Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Mines, National Park Service, and the IRS control of business through corporate regulations.  All of which, by the way, are unconstitutional.  The federal government has no authority to be poking its nose into internal issues, and individual ownership by citizens or corporations.  The goal?  It is clear that the evolution of their control is to eventually place all of these lands and businesses under full regulatory control by the federal government.

#8 Communist Manifesto Plank: Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

- The labor unions were just the beginning.  Minimum Wage enables the federal government to manipulate the voting public, and the economy, at the same time.  You can throw Federal Public Works Programs into the mix as well.  Right now the Democrats are calling for an increase of the minimum wage, which will further destroy the middle class (for though the entry level employees will get a raise, the middle class will not, and when the cost of living increases as a result of the increase of wages hits America, the poor will be no better off, and without a raise of their own, the Middle Class will be worse off.  We also must remember that Obama has been doing what he can to create two armies on the civilian side. President Obama called for a civilian National Security Force in 2008 that, he said, would be just as powerful and well-funded as the American Military.  Since then, federal departments and agencies have been increasingly armed and are buying massive amounts of amunition, and have been actively going after individuals and groups that oppose the Democrat Party agenda through Obama.  The second army is an agricultural one, as Karl Marx called for.  The Democrats are creating that army through encouraging illegal immigration, ensuring the illegals stand in Obama's camp, and that they are the ones that control agricultural operations in America.

#9 Communist Manifesto Plank: Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country.

- In the United States, this plank began to be fulfilled with the Planning Reorganization act of 1949 , zoning (Title 17 1910-1990) and Super Corporate Farms, as well as Executive orders 11647, 11731 (ten regions) and Public "law" 89-136. These provide for forced relocations and forced sterilization programs, like in China.  Also, under the guise of Sustainable Development, America is being reorganized, moving people away from rural areas, and into the cities.  The goal is to eventually limit agricultural and manufacturing industries to certain areas, eliminating the States, cities and any borders between them, and separate the country into zones, while controlling the food supply.  Some leftists are calling for depopulation in order to achieve their goal, but say it is needed to save us from the mythical man-made global warming threat.

#10 Communist Manifesto Plank: Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.
- Common Core is the latest attempt in forcing this plank forward.  The Obama administration has openly punished States that dare to stand against Common Core.  The public school system is out of control, and now heavy regulation is being applied against private schools and homeschooling. College Standards are being adjusted to be Common Core compliant to force private schools and homeschooling into compliance.  In 2015, President Obama also offered free college for the first two years.  Since the liberal left has nearly completed their control over the educational curriculum, this only enables the indoctrination to go deeper.  Since the unconstitutional creation of the Department of Education under President Carter, education in America has been in a nosedive.  But the education of our children is not the goal.  Control is.  Their agenda is above what is best for our children.

Notice that the Obama administration has been actively promoting the Ten Planks of Communism.  They tell you it is for social justice, to make sure everyone pays their fair share and that everyone gets their fair share.  The problem is, these are not concepts from the United States Constitution, but are concepts that come right out of Karl Marx's communist manifesto, and other writings. "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need!"
