The Evitability Of Hillary Clinton

by JASmius

The bloom keeps coming off of her "inevitability" rose, revealing the enormous, thick, razor-sharp, bloodthirsty thorns underneath.

Never mind the hypothetical "horse race" match-ups that are meaningless until such time as any of them actually exist - in which, so the Q-ballers tell it, she's losing to everybody from Marco Rubio to Rand Paul to John Kasich - let's take a gander at something that isn't hypothetical: her personal numbers:

[Mrs.] Clinton’s favorability ratings are 47%–45% in Florida....

Underwater.

....negative 44%–48% in Ohio.....

Furthest underwater.

....and 46%–48% in Pennsylvania.

Pretty underwater.

That's sixty-seven Electoral Votes in States Barack Obama carried twice where people don't like Hillary Clinton, in case you're keeping score.

She is not honest and trustworthy, Florida voters say 51%–43%....

Underwater.

....Ohio voters say 53%–40%....

Further underwater.

....Pennsylvania voters say 54%–40%.

Crush depth.

That's sixty-seven Electoral Votes in States Barack Obama carried twice where people think Hillary Clinton is an even bigger liar than he is, in case you're keeping score.

And they already don't like her.

And Democrats have nobody else.

Maybe poetic justice delayed isn't poetic justice denied after all.
