Hillary Aide Cheryl Mills Told to Destroy Emails

by JASmius

The Vast Leftwing Conspiracy continues to unravel.  Why do I put it that way?  Because Miss Mills hasn't deleted her Hillary emails yet, but has publicly declared her intention to do so:

Cheryl Mills, Hillary Clinton's chief of staff while she was Secretary of State, plans to delete her email correspondence, her lawyers tell U.S. Judge Emmet G. Sullivan in a letter.

"Miss Mills does not believe that she has paper copies of potential records in her possession," the letter says, ten-year Justice Department employee Sidney Powell writes in the New York Observer.

"Following our production on August 10th, 2015 [of the defense counsel’s version of the electronic records], we have instructed her to delete any and all electronic records in her possession," the letter continues.

Powell, the author of Licensed to Lie: Exposing Corruption In The Department Of Justice, called the decision a "far stretch" from a statement Mills had made, and points out that Judicial Watch has made an emergency filing in Sullivan's court to stop the records from being destroyed. [emphasis added]

Well, now, this is brazen.  It's one thing to have already destroyed evidence a long time ago, like Mrs. Clinton did by wiping her private server; everybody knows what you did, but it can't be proven, so she gets off scot-free, like always.  It's the textbook way to carry out an airtight coverup.  It's another thing to be behind the curve and belatedly attempting to destroy evidence before it can be discovered.  It's still another thing to be in that race after it has been discovered but before it's been subpoenaed.  But to be behind that curve, having had the evidence in your possession exposed, about to be subpoenaed, and you have your attorneys issue a statement to the presiding judge that you're going to destroy the evidence in your possession....it's yet another example of something that isn't surprising - it's La Clinton Nostra, after all - but is still breathtaking to witness.

You can sure tell Miss Powell has had his breath taken away:

"It is simply shocking that the State Department did not immediately inform Congress, the Court, and Judicial Watch that Mrs. Clinton operated solely on a private email server and that the State Department did not have her records," said Powell.

No, actually, Miss Powell, it's not shocking at all.  It's the Clintons and the Obama Regime.  They're above the law, remember?

It is also telling, she writes, that [Mrs.] Clinton did not have an inspector general at State while she was there, but already, the independent watchdog there now has identified classified or sensitive materials that should not have been sent on the private server.

That's just the latest thing that's "telling" about Hillary Clinton going back thirty years to the old Arkansas Mafia.  And Hillary was far from being alone in the Obama Regime on that score.

It may also interest you that Miss Mills perjured herself (or "pulled a Susan Rice") by testifying that the Empress used state.gov sometimes and clintonemail.com at other times,  Now she's working on the obstruction of justice - again, at her attorneys' direction, with full, blatant heads-up to the presiding judge,  And yet it doesn't phase any of them at all, like they know they're in no trouble and are amusing themselves with the artifice of "cooperating with the investigation" that their privileged status will keep from ever laying a glove on them.

And they'd be right.

Unfortunately for her, Miss Powell lets her outraged incredulity get the best of her:

The question now is, with all of this deceit, delay, and destruction past, present and planned, how long will it be before Judge Sullivan issues a show cause order to hold Secretary [John] Kerry, Miss Mills and/or others in contempt, issues an order to prevent the destruction of Miss Mills or anyone’s electronic records, and appoints a special prosecutor to investigate the entire corrupt cabal?

Not forever, Miss Powell.  Just until after the universe dies its final heat death.
