Ben Carson is Right, No Muslim President

By Douglas V. Gibbs

In the Fox News piece about how in an NBC Meet the Press interview 2016 Presidential Candidate Ben Carson said, "I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation," and that the Islamic faith is inconsistent with the Constitution, the Associated Press writer added, "However, he did not specify in what way Islam ran counter to constitutional principles."

First of all, Ben Carson is right in what he said, but in this politically correct society where Islam has everyone afraid to say anything that Muslims might not like to hear, a candidate just can't say such a thing in the public forum.

Second of all, since the Associated Press thought that it was a "gotcha" that Carson did not explain how Islam runs counter to the U.S. Constitution, yours truly, Mr. Constitution, would love to spell it out for them.

Islam is a theocracy, where religion and government are one.  Islam is the "established" religion in Muslim countries, with the central government fully immersed in Islamic religious standards and demands.  The First Amendment of the United States Constitution says that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion."

Islam does not allow free speech in its societies.  Any political or religious speech against Islam in Muslim countries is punished as per Islamic law.  The First Amendment of the United States Constitution says that "Congress shall make no law...abridging the freedom of speech.

Islam does not allow a freedom of the press, and in numerous examples across the world have used violence against news sources that "offend" their religious and political cult.  Political cartoons featuring the false prophet Muhammad, for example, have been met with swift and bloody jihadist retaliation.  In Muslim countries, any press that is critical of Islam is not allowed.  The First Amendment of the United States Constitution says that "Congress shall make no law...abridging the freedom...of the press."

Islam does not allow in Muslim countries the free assembly of non-Muslims.  Dhimmis cannot build new churches or synagogues, and whenever an assembly of dhimmis appears in a public place, it is swiftly broken up, and often violently.  The First Amendment of the United States Constitution says that "Congress shall make no law...abridging...the right of the people peaceably to assemble."

Islam does not allow the people to complain against what the government does, or petition the government to make change.  The government is a totalitarian tyranny where the religious leaders, and the political leaders, hold society into place under Sharia law with an iron fist.  The First Amendment of the United States Constitution says that "Congress shall make no law...abridging...the right of the people...to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

In an Islamic country, non-Muslims are not issued licenses to carry a firearm.  Only Muslims have the privilege of owning guns.  The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution says that "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."

In an Islamic country, especially in time of war or violence in which the jihad is associated, jihadists use women and children at human shields, and mosques, hospitals and homes to hold out in.  It is not unusual for jihadist fighters to use a person's home as a base for operations, forcing the homeowner to allow the entry of the jihadist into their home, to feed the jihadist, and to allow the jihadist a place to sleep if necessary.  Government troops can also do so during peacetime as they feel necessary.  Homes of dhimmis are especially a target of this kind of treatment.  The Third Amendment of the United States Constitution says that "No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law."

The United States Constitution was set up to limit the powers of the federal government, only authorizing the federal government express powers specifically for the purpose of handling external issues, and issues that directly influence the union (such as conflict between the States, or communication between the States).  Islam's central governments control everything, dictate to the people even when they must pray.  There are no limitations on the government in Islam.

What I just wrote only addresses the basic principles of limited government, and the first three amendments of the United States Constitution, and the incompatibility of Islam with the United States Constitution is glaringly obvious.  I could go through almost every amendment and article of the U.S. Constitution and find incompatibility with each and every clause.  Islam is a contradictory ideology to the basic principles and philosophies that the Constitution was written to uphold.  Islam has no place in America.  Islam seeks to dominate both politically, and religiously, all systems worldwide.  In Islam, the Koran and Sharia is the law of the land, and in America that would mean they would place Koranic and Sharia law above the United States Constitution as the law of the land.

Islam is incompatible with the United States Constitution, and therefore is incompatible with the American System.  Allowing a person that represents an anti-American ideology that is hostile to the American System into our government is dangerous, and should not be allowed - for doing so is giving aid and comfort to the enemy.  Allowing the two representatives we have in Congress right now that are Muslim, Ellison of Minnesota and Carson of Indiana, is potentially disastrous to our system, and way of life.  Muslims have infiltrated the FBI, CIA, and many other parts of government.  Allowing this kind of infiltration by people who follow an ideology that is so anti-American is akin to allowing Nazis into our government during World War II.  That may not be a politically correct thing to say, but then again, with Islam twisting our system and infiltrating our society, it seems that truth has become a radical act.

Meanwhile, Obama and Kerry are doing all they can to allow the Muslim invaders (they call them refugees) into our country in massive numbers through Hijrah - Jihad by Emigration.
