Yep, it's confirmed: Electronic co-mingling of official government business and personal business isn't limited to La Clinton Nostra, but is part of the general, corrupt, "Secrets? We don't need no steenking secrets!" royal entitlement culture of the entire Obama Regime:
A news report published Wednesday said Defense [Commissar] Ash Carter used a personal email account to do some of his government business during his first months at the [Obam]agon.
The New York Times reported it obtained seventy-two work-related emails that Carter sent or received from his personal email account.
Carter's press secretary, Peter Cook, told the Times that Carter believes his use of personal email for work-related business was a mistake.
Not deliberate law-breaking. Because just like Mrs. Clinton, how could the fifth in the line of presidential succession be expected to do what is necessary to obey and follow the law? To review the rules and protocols against disseminating classified information by any but official government channels (that have been hacked to death by our enemies), or even pay attention to the briefings on them? Or have the common sense God gave a doorknob to grasp that gmail and hotmail aren't the securest email platforms in the known universe?
Cook declined to say whether it was a violation of [Obam]agon email policies.
Which means it was. At least I hope so. Otherwise, that would mean that DOD has even more lax security procedures than the f'ing STATE DEPARTMENT. And that has always been assumed to be physically impossible.
Cook said Carter stopped the practice, but Cook did not say when.
Which means he may not have stopped the practice when he claims he did, and indeed, may never have stopped the practice and all and still be doing it. Which would be awfully convenient when the later FBI investigation is trying to nail down which classified information went out on his private email account.
Carter, who took office in February, continued to use his own email account, contrary to Defense [Commissariat] rules, for at least two months after it became public in March that Hillary Clinton had used only her personal email account while she was [Commissar] of State, the Times quoted the officials as saying.
i.e. Whatever crimes Carter may have committed are all Hillary's fault, and he's going to hide under her big, fat, saggy ass. Not the safest, most aesthetically pleasing locale, to say nothing of sensory experience.
But then neither is prison. And Carter is much more susceptible to winding up there than the Empress will ever be.
UPDATE: The Senate Armed Services Committee is set to join the burgeoning IT-Dragnet business.
