How Hillary Clinton Would "Fix" ObamaCare's Job Decimation

by JASmius

Here's a hint: Reading between the lines of her words, I'm betting she's not talking full repeal:

Many companies are pushing employees into a part-time workforce because of ObamaCare restrictions, Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton acknowledged this week at an Iowa City town hall meeting, saying the situation needs to be changed.

Something she would not be acknowledging if there wasn't a hard-left angle she couldn't take off of it, seeing as how the most day-glo obvious solution is full repeal of ObamaCare.

"We have built in some unfortunate incentives that discourage full-time employment," [Mrs.] Clinton said in response to a question from a supporter concerning companies that are using part-timers, reports the Washington Free Beacon.

Yes; it's called "ObamaCare".  Federalizing healthcare cannot do anything else BUT discourage full-time employment.  It's like mandating sticking our hands on thousand-degree oven burners and then fretting about heat.

Many employers, she said, "believe if you don't work forty-hours a week you don't get benefits and that includes; you don't get health care benefits; that might include you're not eligible for the family medical leave; you're not eligible for paid sick days."

"Many employers" are capitalists who are in business to make a living for themselves and their families and a profit for their stockholders.  That becomes more difficult to do the more mandated costs you inflict upon them.  And they don't have the luxury, like government (temporarily) does, of operating at a loss.  Consequently they have to find a way to control costs - in this case, labor costs.  That doesn't make them "evil" or "greedy," it makes them AND their employees victims of evil, greedy government.

But that's not the direction Herself is going to take, as is ominously communicated in this quote:

[Mrs.] Clinton called the situation a "disincentive in our system that we need to deal with," according to a video being distributed by the Republican National Committee. "I really worry about it because there is a trend to try and move more and more people into part-time work." [emphases added]

Doesn't take Carnac The Magnificent to see where the Ugly Dutchess is headed with this: Expand the Employer Mandate to force ALL employers to provide ObamaCare-dictated health insurance coverage for ALL employees, no matter how few hours they work.  Which will only exacerbate and magnify the problem, destroying millions of part-time jobs as well, fueling the move towards automation already being propelled by jacked-up minimum wage hikes across the country, and driving even more surviving small businesses out of business, further stoking inflation, pushing U.S. businesses to relocate overseas, where the Old Puffgut has punishment waiting for them as well.  Recall that back in the 2008 campaign, she was calling for an even harsher employer mandate than Obama's, and a "pay or play" mandate including businesses with fewer than twenty-five employees.  I recall her ripping The One for being too "moderate" on what she obviously still considers to be "her" pet issue.  "Hell hath no fury," and all that.

If we let Donald Trump put this woman back in the White House, we won't have to worry about ObamaCare anymore; we will have full-scale HillaryCare: Resurgence.

"That is definitely bigger than the last one," indeed.
