If this doesn't change Barack Obama's mind about launching Operation Iraqi/Syrian Freedom, nothing will:
Before a crowd of men on a street in the Syrian city of Palmyra, the masked Islamic State group judge read out the sentence against the two men convicted of homosexuality: They would be thrown to their deaths from the roof of the nearby Wael Hotel.
He asked one of the men if he was satisfied with the sentence. Death, the judge told him, would help cleanse him of his sin.
"I'd prefer it if you shoot me in the head," thirty-two-year-old Hawas Mallah replied helplessly. The second man, twenty-one-year-old Mohammed Salameh, pleaded for a chance to repent, promising never to have sex with a man again, according to a witness among the onlookers that sunny July morning who gave the Associated Press a rare first-hand account.
"Take them and throw them off," the judge ordered. Other masked [Muslim]s tied the men's hands behind their backs and blindfolded them. They led them to the roof of the four-story hotel, according to the witness, who spoke in the Turkish city of Reyhanli on condition he be identified only by his first name, Omar, for fear of reprisals.
Notorious for their gruesome methods of killing, the Islamic State reserves one of its most brutal for suspected homosexuals. Videos it has released show masked [jihad]s dangling men over the precipices of buildings by their legs to drop them head-first or tossing them over the edge. At least thirty-six men in Syria and Iraq have been killed by IS [jihadist]s on charges of sodomy, according to the New York-based OutRight Action International, though its Middle East and North Africa coordinator, Hossein Alizadeh, said it was not possible to confirm the sexual orientation of the victims.
Makes you wonder why the American Gaystapo thinks this will never happen to them as a result of their Islamophilic "orientation" as leftwingnut extremists, especially given the breakneck pace at which their demigod is importing Muslims into this country. And don't think, Assholiated Press, that I missed your next 'graph in the story about, "The fear of a horrific death among gay men under Islamic State rule is further compounded by their isolation in a deeply conservative society that largely shuns them." Yes, our society should be returned to its "deeply conservative" roots, and yes, homosexuality should be shunned, not celebrated. But no, homosexuals should not be thrown off of buildings, or otherwise prosecuted, for it. There are far more sins than sodomy anyway, and those of each person are between them and the God Who has made propitiation for them on Calvary's cross. So take your Christophobic conflation and, well, throw it off the nearest building.
I meant what I said in the lede above: If ISIS is executing homosexuals for being homosexual, wouldn't that motivate The One to get serious about fighting them? Sure, he could care less about the religious cleansing of Christians from Iraq and Syria, but now we're talking about members of the "right tribe" being lethally persecuted. The ultimate "homophobia". Surely that should be sufficient reason to put boots on the ground in Mesopotamia, yes?
Barack Obama on Thursday said that while the United States is sending more forces to combat the Islamic State in Iraq, it is not following the model of its 2003 invasion of the country that locked it in violent conflict there for many years.
No, that won the war and crushed both Saddam Hussein AND ISIS's precursor, al Qaeda In Iraq.
"We're not going to do an Iraq-style invasion of Iraq or Syria with battalions that are moving across the desert," he said in an interview with CBS, using a common acronym for the [Muslim] group, ISIS.
And, thus, ISIS will not be defeated, will be essentially left alone to grow in prestige and power and strength and conquests, until the day when American homosexuals are being thrown off of buildings.
You know, like this.....
And maybe even "straight" Americans as well.
Almost as if Barack Obama was doing the throwing himself.
NOW who's the "homophobe," AP?
