Trump Defends Putin On Political Murders Of Journalists

Tomorrow's headline: "Trump surges on defense of Putin, gains majority support in GOP presidential race":

Republican presidential [FRONTRUNNER!!!!] Donald Trump defended Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday, saying it would be "despicable" if the leader actually did kill opposition journalists, as he has been accused of on US television.

But Trump asked his TV interviewer to first "prove" any such allegations.

Like the "proof" that Trump went bankrupt on four separate occasions.

Trump support: 55%.

Trump's statements come just days after a separate talkshow host asked how he felt about Putin, who "kills journalists and political opponents and invades countries."

Trump quickly responded: "I think our country does plenty of killing, also."

Drawing moral equivalencies of America with murderous despots.  Just like a Democrat.

Trump support: 60%

"When you say a man has killed reporters I'd like you to prove it. I have never seen any information or any proof that he killed reporters," Trump told host George Stephanopoulos, who referenced suspicions that Putin was involved in the 2006 death of investigative Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya.

He didn't kill Miss Politkovskaya personally; he had his secret police take her out, you moron.

Trump support: 65%

Pressed for specifics [on America's mass murders], Trump added: "Take a look at what we're doing in the Middle East. We went into Iraq, we shouldn't have."

Spoken just like Barack Obama.

Trump support: 80%.

I don't know what else to tell you, folks,  Trump could show up at his next rally stark naked, and it would boost him in the polls.  Trump could behead Jeb Bush on national TV and it would boost him in the polls.  Trump could behead Ted Cruz on national TV and it would boost him in the polls.  He could grow a square mustache and promise to finish Hitler's "Final Solution" and ask interviewers to "prove" the Holocaust, and it would boost him in the polls.  So I can't fathom how Trump defending Czar Vlad's political murders won't boost him in the polls.
