There is no end to the international humiliation the Obama administration is willing to subject the nation to. With the Iranians kidnapping our sailors in the Persian gulf, it's as though the Persian mullahs can get away with they themselves crapping on the carpet, rubbing Obama's nose in it and thrashing Baghdad Barry with a rolled up newspaper while yelling "bad dog!" - then posting videos of it all over the internet.
Kerry thanking Tehran for releasing the sailors is like a little boy thanking a child molester for raping him, it's unbelievable. To the contrary, the US fleet in the vicinity of the Persian Gulf should immediately isolate by all means necessary and, if also necessary, take the island, rescue the sailors and whatever negotiations with Iran there may be begins at that point.
With respect to Iran, Obama makes former President Jimmy Carter look like John Wayne. I am reminded of two tank pictures - an old Michael Dukakis campaign photo of Dukakis riding in a tank, which looks like a little kid getting a joy ride at Fort Irwin on Armed Forces day, contrasted with the picture of former British Prime Minister Margarete Thatcher doing the same during the 1982 Falklands war, which also involved some islands.
The Argentinian military junta tugged on her English robe, and she cleaned their clock.
President Obama is no Margarete Thatcher.
