The Tyrant Mentality

by JASmius

It absolutely saturates the following Obamunist quotes on The One's illegal, unlawful, unconstitutional gun control decrees.

First, up: Valerie Jarrett, aka "The Mind Behind The Marxist Mulatto":

The president felt the need to announce his executive orders on gun control because Congress wouldn't act on the matter, White House Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett said Tuesday.

"Nothing has frustrated him more than Congress's unwillingness to act on this issue since he's been in office," Jarrett told MSNBC's Morning Joe program. "We still want to put pressure on Congress to do the right thing and we're going to need the American people to help us do that. But in the meantime the president is going to take the steps that he can to keep guns out of the wrong hands."

First, the American people are being turned ever more pro-Second Amendment precisely by your boss's "unilateralism" on guns, so I wouldn't count on any "help" from that direction.  Second, if Congress were going to do what you consider to be the "right thing," they'd have done it long before now, which you damn well realize or the American dictator wouldn't be embarking on what will ultimately be his gun confiscation blitzkrieg.  And third, and most importantly, it doesn't matter whether or not Congress "acts" an ANY matter, that is their constitutional prerogative under Article I, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution.  Just as it is NOT Barack Obama's constitutional prerogative to "act" legislatively in their place.  If The One wants federal gun control - which is also illegal, unlawful, and unconstitutional under Amendment II, as are all federal gun laws - he is not legally authorized to even lobby for it for precisely that reason.  Something a self-styled "constitutional scholar" is supposed to know.  Let him urge Americans to lobby their State governments to enact stricter gun laws on that level if he wants, but it is not a federal issue.

Or, rather, it's not supposed to be.  But we passed that Rubicon ages ago.

The president didn't take that step after the Newtown, Connecticut attacks, though, because the first priority was to get Congress to pass an act that would have been more comprehensive, said Jarrett.

And illegal, unlawful, and unconstitutional.  And we all know why O didn't "take that step" after Newtown, now don't we?  He didn't want his party to get wiped out in the 2014 midterm elections.  Which his equally illegal, unlawful, unconstitutional Executive amnesty decree accomplished quite effectively instead.

"In their failure to act, the president passed twenty-three different executive orders that have made great improvements in terms of how we share data from the State and local level, improving our own technology," said Jarrett. "After Oregon he said 'I want my team to go back and take another look and see what more we can do.' That's when the team came up with this package that the president will present today."

Which is illegal, unlawful, and unconstitutional.  And which he also didn't bother with until now because he was too busy completing the other aspects of his illegal, unlawful, unconstitutional "fundamental transformation" agenda.

All of which they're perfectly well aware, as they are that their anti-gun arguments will continue to go nowhere.  Which is why they have to focus on viciously demonizing their opponents:

The NRA, she went on, has a "well-oiled machine where they've generated a lot of revenue that they use to influence members of Congress. What the president has said is that the American people have a lot of of power, too and and when their voices are heard, they'll be more powerful than the NRA."

Except that the American people (1) have no power, thanks to Obamunist "fundamental transformation," and (2) are with the NRA, not the Regime.  Something that the daughter of a long line of communist revolutionaries made sure her boss didn't forget to caustically combat:

Barack Obama warned Tuesday the U.S. gun lobby cannot be allowed to block government action to curb the tens of thousands of firearm deaths each year in the country.

Another long-debunked lie.  Can the Constitution do so?  Because it's supposed to.

"The gun lobby may be holding Congress hostage right now, but they can't hold America hostage," Obama said as he unveiled a series of executive measures aimed at tightening gun control.

Says the same man who is waving thousands of Islamic jihadists into this country to give us thousands more San Bernardinos and 9/11s and worse.

Obama [defam]ed the memory of Martin Luther King Tuesday as he urged Americans to wake up to the need to tackle gun violence.

How about calling off your war against local law enforcement, then?  That would be a step in the right direction.  That, of course, he will never take.

"We do have to feel a sense of urgency about it. In Dr. King's words, we need to feel the fierce urgency of now, because people are dying," Obama said as he outlined a raft of executive measures on gun control.

"And the constant excuses for inaction no longer do."

The Constitution is not an "excuse".  It used to be the law of the land.  God willing, one day soon it will be again.
