U.S. Supreme Court Will Uphold Obamnesty

by JASmius

Remember when U.S. District Court Judge Andrew Hanen injuncted Obamnesty?  And then the Obama Regime went right ahead with its implementation of his infernal majesty's illegal, unlawful, unconstitutional diktat anyway?  But for ego's sake, they appealed to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, which also ruled against them?   And how I warned you all that even though this legal process is entirely irrelevant to the actual facts and action on the ground, the White House would appeal this to the SCOTUS anyway?  And that the best indication of whether they had a chance of getting an Olympian ruling to their liking is whether or not the Justices even agreed to here the appeal?

This, then, is not a good sign of things to come:

The Supreme Court will rule on Barack Obama’s decision to [cancel] deportation for as many as [thirty] million [illegal aliens], agreeing to hear the administration’s appeal on one of the most contentious issues of his presidency.

The court will hear arguments in April, setting up a likely late-June ruling that will stoke what is already a fiery immigration debate in the presidential campaign.

A federal appeals court said Obama overstepped his authority in ordering the plan, which would let millions of [aliens] apply for a reprieve from deportation and get work permits [and voter registrations]. The program, announced in November 2014, is being challenged by Texas and twenty-six other States, almost all led by Republicans.

It requires the votes of at least four Justices to grant the hearing of appeals.  Which almost certainly means Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagen gave the green light, and it will depend, once again, on which side of the bed from which Justice Kennedy gets up as to whether Barack Obama's presidential dictatorship is validated yet again.

And given that Obamnesty has been fully implemented and is a fait accompli already, plus the timing of this ruling - right smack in the middle of the 2016 presidential general campaign - and how much an upholding of Obamnesty, just as with ObamaCare four years earlier, would aid Democrat interests by, in this case, pouring napalm on "populist" anger and thereby boosting Donald Trump (especially if the GOP convention is brokered), it seems highly likely if not guaranteed that another Obama SCOTUS triumph is simply a matter of time.

Exit question: Wouldn't this be just a wonderful time for Justice Scalia and/or Justice Thomas to suddenly come down with a "health problem"?
