ISIS, Via Taliban, Massacres Over Seventy Christians In Lahore, Pakistan

by JASmius

And on Easter Sunday, too.  I guess the Global Jihad prefers its "egg hunts" to have a much more highly-elevated protein content.  That, and I'm guessing chocolate is banned by the Qur'an's dietary restrictions:

Pakistani authorities on Monday hunted members of a Taliban faction which once declared loyalty to [the] Islamic State after the group claimed responsibility for an Easter suicide bomb targeting Christians that killed at least seventy people.

The brutality of Sunday's attack by Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, the group's fifth bombing since December, reflects the movement's attempts to raise its profile among Pakistan's increasingly fractured Islami[c Fundamentalist]s.

At least twenty-nine children enjoying an Easter weekend outing were among those killed when the suicide bomber struck in a busy park in the eastern city of Lahore, the power base of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Pakistan is a majority-Muslim state but has a Christian population of more than two million.

It was Pakistan's deadliest attack since the December 2014 massacre of 134 school children at a military-run academy in the city of Peshawar that prompted a big government crackdown on Islami[c Fundamentalism]. [emphasis added]

Just in case there was any stubborn doubt about the core purpose of this atrocity, the attackers preempted it:

Jamaat-ul-Ahrar claimed responsibility for the attack late on Sunday night and issued a direct challenge to the government.

"The target was Christians," a faction spokesman, Ehsanullah Ehsan, said. "We want to send this message to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that we have entered Lahore."

Remember the global Muslim protests when the false story of a Qur'an being flushed at Gitmo was floated?  Now try to picture a marauding band of "Christianists" carrying out an equivalently bloody attack against Muslims during, say, Ramadan.  You can't do it, can you?  That's because (1) there are no such things as "Christianists, and (2) Christianity is the REAL "religion of peace," (Yes, I know, it's a relationship, but work with me here) and (3) and such attack would actually be carried out by another Muzzie faction.  You also can't envision global outrage and anger and protests at the deliberate targeting of Christian children for terroristic death, either, because there won't be any.  Because the "warrior religion" butchering the "slave religions" (as Adolph Hitler used to refer to Islam and Christianity, respectively) is simply "the way of things," and the vast majority of the world - heck, the vast majority of our country, most especially its ruler - couldn't care less.

But the "direct challenge to the government" shouldn't be overlooked, either, because it is the ongoing threat whereby nuclear Pakistan could become a Sunni jihadist version of Shiite jihadist nuclear Iran:

Pakistan has been plagued by [jihadist] violence for the last fifteen years, since it joined a U.S.-led campaign against Islami[c Fundamentalism] after the September 11th, 2001, al-Qaeda attacks on the United States....

Most [jihadist]s, like the Pakistani Taliban, are fighting to topple the government and introduce a strict interpretation of Islamic law.

However, the entrance of the [not-so-]separate Islamic State ideology from the Middle East - unlike the Taliban, [the] Islamic State envisions a global caliphate and emphasizes killing Christians and minority Shi'a Muslims - has also raised worries it could intensify sectarian violence in Pakistan.

Jamaat-ul-Ahrar in September 2014 swore allegiance to [the] Islamic State, also known as Daesh.

"We respect them. If they ask us for help, we will look into it and decide," spokesman Ehsan told Reuters of [the] Islamic State, while rejecting the main Pakistani Taliban leadership.

The worst of both worlds, in other words.  Picture that bunch taking over Pakistan, with its nuclear arsenal in place and ready for launching.  Do you think that might not be a helpful aid in erecting a global caliphate, to say nothing of liquidating "infidels" by the millions?  The fear fifteen years ago was that bin Laden would get his hands on Pakistan's nukes - remember that he was suspected of having gotten his hands on several of the old Soviet Union's "suitcase" nuclear devices, and he used to boast that his goal was to slaughter at least four million Americans "in retaliation," so he fancifully claimed, for the like number of Muslim lives the U.S. had taken over the years.  ISIS has since eclipsed al Qaeda because the latter considers the former to be too "weak" and "moderate" - which is to say, al Qaeda is a "weak horse" because it lost to the U.S. (while George W. Bush was president, anyway).  And now their Jamaat-ul-Ahrar affiliate is moving in for the kill on the Sharif regime by illustrating how impotent and powerless the latter is to stop them from taking out the plethora of "soft" targets that even un-free societies like Pakistan have.

And if they can "send home to Jesus" a foretaste of the genocidal Christophobic rampage to come, well, "Allah" will be pleased, right?

UPDATE: Don't try to tell me that ISIS doesn't read Bibles before they burn them:

A Catholic priest kidnapped by the Islamic State (ISIS) is believed to have been crucified by the terror group on Good Friday, but there has been no official confirmation of the barbaric act as yet.

Father Thomas Uzhunnalil was grabbed March 4th in Yemen when heavily-armed ISIS soldiers stormed a shelter for the elderly run by the Missionaries of Charity, founded by Mother Theresa, the Daily Mail reports....

The Washington Times reports his execution was carried out by the same method Romans used on Jesus Christ on Good Friday.

Does this mean that if we can ever capture Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, we should execute him by feeding him a procession of diseased whores until he dies of syphilis?
