Terry McAuliffe Empties Virginia Prisons To Vote For Hillary Clinton

by JASmius

Entrance question: Are these two hundred thousand convicted felons included in Mrs. Clinton's thirteen-point lead over Donald Trump in the Virginia RCP poll average, or is she now even farther ahead than that?:

But many Republicans viewed McAuliffe’s action as a blatant favor to his longtime friend Hillary Clinton, for whom he and his wife recently raised $2 million at their McLean home.

“It is hard to describe how transparent the Governor’s motives are,” House Speaker William J. Howell (R-Stafford) said in a statement. “The singular purpose of Terry McAuliffe’s governorship is to elect Hillary Clinton president of the United States. This office has always been a stepping stone to a job in Hillary Clinton’s Cabinet.

The Commerce Commissariat sounds like T-Mac's dream billet.

Republicans were particularly outraged that the policy doesn’t take into account the violence of the crime, whether the person committed serial crimes, whether they’ve committed crimes since completing their sentence or whether they’ve paid their victims back for medical bills.

“Murder victims don’t get to sit on juries but now the man that killed them will,” said Delegate Robert B. Bell (R-Albemarle), who [is] running for attorney general. “A murder victim won’t get to vote, but the man that killed them will. You will have child pornographers, human traffickers, robbers, rapists, murderers eligible to sit on juries and hear criminal cases of people who commit similar crimes.”

.@GovernorVA signs executive action restoring voting and civil rights to over 200k Virginians

And, of course, help elect Hillary Clinton the forty-fifth POTUS.  Transparently, shamelessly, proudly.  Such a pristinely honest corruption.  Almost takes your breath away, doesn't it?  Colorado's John Hickenlooper, Minnesota's Mark Dayton, New Hampshire's Maggie Hasan, and Pennsylvania's Tom Wolf had better get on the stick to empty their prisons accordingly.  Given the fact that the other seven "battleground" States are led by Republican governors, they can't afford to take any chances, right?  The Empress will be ever so appreciative....

Proud of my friend @GovernorVA for continuing to break down barriers to voting. -H https://twitter.com/nytimes/status/723530819592159232
