A new report reveals that President Barack Obama has budgeted $17,613 for each of the estimated 75,000 Central American teens expected to illegally cross into the United States this year. The number exceeds the average annual Social Security retirement benefit by $2,841. Ultimately, the final cost to taxpayers is $1.3 billion in benefits to "unaccompanied children." The bill vastly surpasses prior years, and is more than double what the federal government spent in 2010.
The president's budget must still leap the hurdle of congressional approval, and it must do so also including a recommendation for another $2.1 billion for refugees, which can include the illegals from Central American countries other than Mexico. The proposal also calls for spending heavily on a program with the United Nations to eliminate the fear of deportation by declaring the illegal aliens "refugees" and handing them a plane ticket to go wherever in the U.S. they say they have family. Along with the plane ticket, the illegal alien that has been re-branded a "refugee" gets a special legal status.
The report in question is titled "Welcoming Unaccompanied Alien Children to the United States."
Meanwhile, as taxpayer money is being pumped into the "refugees," the Obama administration has also reduced the number of persons deported from the United States.
Federal data reveals that deportations by the U.S. Customs and Enforcement agency have plummeted 43 percent in just three years.
ICE agents removed 235,413 illegal immigrants in fiscal 2015, a decrease of 174,436 from the 409,849 removed in fiscal 2012.
At the same time, ICE received $3,431,444,000 for removal and detention of immigrants in fiscal 2015, a whopping increase of $680 million over the fiscal 2012 budget of $2,750,843,000.
Ultimately, what is going on here is that ICE is receiving roughly $3,900 more in funding for each fewer alien it deported.
