Following Orlando's terror attack, Muslims are activating in the United States. While Americans see this as all the more reason to support Donald Trump's call to ban the import of Islamists into the United States, the liberal left Democrats say this is all the more reason to take guns away from law-abiding citizens.
The name of the the attacker is Mohammad Moghaddam. He took hostages at an Amarillo Walmart, and in the showdown was shot dead by police. The suspect was 54, and was originally from Iran. He came to the United States eight years ago, and during his time in the United States had convinced all around him that he was a moderate Muslim.
The motive, according to police, is that Mohammad was upset because he was passed over for a promotion so he took his manager and another person hostage. In other words, they are spinning this as being "workplace violence."
Muhammad's attack was likely because he's Muslim. This kind of thing is what the adherents to the teachings of the false prophet Muhammad does.
The attacker took two people hostage, and when police responded to the incident a SWAT crew entered the area of the store where the hostages were located and fatally shot Moghaddam.
Moghaddam was armed with a handgun, a fact the media has been quick to point out because it supports their narrative of desiring the confiscation of all handguns from law-abiding citizens in the United States. The narrative in the article is also careful to explain that police does not believe this to be terrorism-related. That motive possibility of terrorism shouldn't be the last consideration when the suspect is Muslim. It should be the first consideration.
