Computer Programmer Under Oath: Rigging Elections

By Douglas V. Gibbs

Are our elections being skewed by unseen hands?  It has been suggested by both sides that members of both parties have been using technology to rig elections in the United States.

A long-time democrat party poll worker who admitted to illegal voting was sentenced to five years in prison. Melowese Richardson, 58, pleaded no contest to four counts of illegal voting in 2009, 2011 and 2012. One count charged her with voting for her sister, who is in a coma. Four other counts were dropped in exchange for Richardson’s plea. She was released in a matter of months. Ohio Democrats then invited her to a “welcome her back” event, and applauded her. They invited her up to the stage, like some sort of hero. Democrats have repeatedly stood against legislation that would make voter fraud more difficult, such as Voter ID laws.

In 2012's presidential election a lifetime republican friend of mine discovered that he was changed over to democrat without his knowledge. Some early voters experienced the electronic voting machines changing the persons pick on the screen.

Democrats have even suggested that the vote should be moved to "online voting," a catastrophe in the making.  70% of the States use some kind of electronic voting, and 43 States are using machines older than ten years.

Donald Trump's longtime confidant Roger Stone has also put out a warning, indicating that massive voter fraud may be in the cards. He said, "I think that the stakes are so high – and Donald Trump has made it pretty clear that if he is elected president he will seek the prosecution of Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea – that they would do anything necessary to remain in power. For anybody who thinks that election fraud is not common in this country, the voting machine today is merely a computer. And all computers can be rigged to have a predetermined outcome."

"… There is evidence that the Clintons not only cheated with the super-delegates, but in States like Wisconsin and New York and Kentucky there were charges of widespread voter fraud on behalf of Hillary. So it does happen here. It will happen here if this race is close. The big city machines, particularly Chicago, are very adept at manipulating these machines."

Continued Stone: "So I think it’s a very real problem. And the single best thing that the Trump people can do is to register a million new voters in the ten swing States. What I would do is take the margin by which Romney lost, double it. That would be my target for new registration."

Donald Trump has recently made comments about the possibility of voter fraud during the presidential election.

"And I’m telling you, November 8, we’d better be careful, because that election is going to be rigged," Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity earlier this month. "And I hope the Republicans are watching closely or it’s going to be taken away from us."

The Democrats aren't the only ones who are guilty.  In the testimony below, a computer programmer admits he was hired by a Republican candidate to rig the vote. . .

While I more expect the voter fraud from the Democrats, the reality is that power encourages corruption, especially when it comes to protecting one's position of power.  Everyone's vote is susceptible to fraud.  The question will wind up being who got away with it more, I suppose.

In 2006, the documentary Hacking Democracy, exposed Diebold and their role in rigging elections with their electronic voting machines. Clinton Eugene “Clint” Curtis is an American attorney, computer programmer and ex-employee of NASA and ExxonMobil, who also exposed election hacking. He is notable chiefly for making a series of whistleblower allegations about his former employer and about Republican Congressman Tom Feeney (video above), including an allegation that in 2000, Feeney and Yang Enterprises requested Curtis’s assistance in a scheme to steal votes by inserting fraudulent code into touch screen voting systems.

Curtis (in the video above) testified under oath in front of the U.S. House Judiciary Members in Ohio that he was hired by Congressman Tom Feeney in 2000 to build a prototype software package that would secretly rig an election to sway the result 51 / 49 to a specified side.

Most shocking is that he said it is an easy thing to do.

So, for Trump supporters, the key is not only winning the election, but winning it by enough votes that the campaign can even overcome the amount of fraud in play.
