Democrats: Buying Votes With Free Stuff

The Dixiecrat argument by leftists that the Southern Racists of the Democrat Party moved over to the GOP in the 60s is rubbish.  Nonsense.

I recently watched a video of a speaker while attending a local conservative event and on the video the black republican said, "The problem is you keep trying to entice blacks with liberty and the truth.  They just want more free shit."

So begins the story of how blacks, who were originally largely Republicans, got into bed with their racist enemies in the Democrat party, and the racists hid their racism to welcome the votes, and then doubled down on it during the Johnson presidency's Great Society.  It began, however, with the New Deal.

It was all about the promise of Free stuff.

The best explanation of it I have seen yet has been by Dinesh D'Souza.  In the video below he obliterates a leftist questioner who challenges D'Souza's assertion that the Democrats are still the party of racism. . .
