Russian Lawyer and Donald Trump Jr. Just Another Wild Goose Chase

The blinding hatred of the liberal left Democrats against anyone who dares to oppose them is to the point that their investigation into Russian meddling is not (and never was) about seeking the truth, it is about eliminating their opposition and removing Donald J. Trump from the presidency. There is no other reason at the bottom of it all.

Isn't it fascinating that the Democrats never really freaked out about Russia being an enemy in the past, and they were even willing to work with the KGB through Ted Kennedy to try and meddle in our election to stop Ronald Reagan during his reelection campaign back in 1984. . . but now that the Russians are no longer communists, they consider them an arch enemy and are accusing them of meddling, rather than seeking them to meddle.

Do they consider Russia abandoning communism something worth making them an enemy over?

Now, in a mad dash attempt to find something, just something, because they can't find anything, incriminating the Trump team as traitorous players in a scandal tying them to Russia and a Russian meddling scheme, now a meeting with a lawyer is being dragged into the three ring circus.

According to the Democrats, the Trump campaign met with a Russian lawyer during the campaign season seeking information on Hillary Clinton that the Russians could supply, and confirming (in the minds of the Democrats) that the Trump team was schmoozing with Russian operatives.

Let's understand that if the meddling is true, it would not only show that Trump's people were a part of the alleged scandal, but also that Obama, Hillary Clinton, and the rest of the Democrats have failed miserably as the leaders of our federal government in keeping foreign agents out of our governmental business and elections - well, either it would be incompetence, or they willfully allowed Russia to meddle.  So, if, hypothetically, their accusations were true, would it not only tell us that Trump should not be in office, but that the entire Democrat apparatus should have nothing to do with our system because they allowed the scandal to happen, knew about it, possibly was behind it, and did not stop it?

The Russian lawyer who met with Donald Trump Jr. during the presidential campaign denied in an exclusive interview with NBC News that she had any connection to the Kremlin and insisted she met with President Donald Trump’s son in 2016 to discuss sanctions between Russia and the U.S., not to hand over information about Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Wasn't that the GOP's story all along?  If there were meetings, it was regarding official things that is needed to be known by the potential president?  That there was nothing shady going on?

“I never had any damaging or sensitive information about Hillary Clinton. It was never my intention to have that,” Natalia Veselnitskaya said.

The New York Times has been reporting that it "seems" that the lawyer is contradicting Trump Jr., because he "seemed" to confirm that he had been offered information about Clinton or her campaign but insisted that nothing untoward in the meeting had occurred.

Did you catch that?  Why would I believe the New York Times, especially when they say something "seems" to be something?

In the end, the truth is, the allegations are made up.  It's a distraction seeking a smoking gun, and they are figuring if they throw enough darts at the dart board, they will hit something.  I say, stop the shenanigans, and let this President do his job.
