Ken Calvert, the popular Republican incumbent in California's 42nd Congressional District, is facing in the 2018 election some unsavory characters. In the case of Matt Woody, an independent in the race, a lawsuit has been filed against Calvert for allegedly having too many words in his campaign statement in the ballot booklet.
That's nothing. Julia Peacock, the Democrat in the race, is using her position as a teacher to campaign for her seat. Wait, a second, isn't it against the law to campaign on the taxpayer's dime?
Apparently, Peacock's illegal action of campaigning while on the job as a teacher is being ignored by the people who are supposed to be making sure election laws are being followed.
Shame on you, FPPC...and shame on you, Julia Peacock!
Democrats will stoop to any illegality to get elected. Julia Peacock's unlawful campaign techniques are not surprising, since she's from the party of crooked Hillary Clinton and criminal Barack Obama.
