Killing Oil

Barack Obama has it out for the oil companies. He hates big oil. He has launched a campaign designed to destroy America's gas and oil industry, and he is stopping at nothing to accomplish his goal.
Part of Obama's agenda was revealed when the EPA compared its “philosophy of enforcement” regarding oil and gas companies to the brutal tactics employed by the ancient Roman army to intimidate its foes into submission. EPA Region VI Administrator Al Armendariz smiled when he detailed the joy with which the EPA inflicts punishment on the industries that don't fit into its web of preferred industries.
The EPA sees its enforcement efforts as an authoritarian necessity to force companies into submission. Never mind that there is no authority granted in the Constitution allowing the federal government any regulatory powers over environmental issues, or energy.

Introduction to the Bill of Rights - Tonight at the Temecula Constitution Class
A little preview:
A significant segment of the Founding Fathers believed the Bill of Rights to be unnecessary. The first seven articles of the U.S. Constitution were written in such a way that the concerns of the Anti-Federalists had been addressed.
The Constitution was written in a manner that allowed the new federal government only the authorities granted to it by the Law of the Land. Regarding firearms, for example, was never an issue granted to the federal government in the first seven articles of the U.S. Constitution, therefore the federal government had no authority to restrict guns in any way, shape, or form. The Anti-Federalists, however, did not believe the federal government would abide by the limitation of authorities placed on the United States Government, therefore demanded that there be written a Bill of Rights. Failure to provide a Bill of Rights, indicated the Anti-Federalists, would result in a failure of those States dominated by Anti-Federalists to ratify the new constitution.
The founders, understanding that without the critical approval of the Anti-Federalists the new constitution would never be ratified, agreed to include a Bill of Rights. James Madison was asked to write and gather the amendments to be proposed and potentially ratified by the States that would make up the Bill of Rights.
Originally, there were a large number of amendments proposed, but the final proposal was narrowed down to twelve amendments. Only ten were ratified. Of the remaining two, one regarding apportionment remains unratified, and the other became the Twenty-Seventh Amendment in 1992.
The debates over the adoption of the Constitution found the Anti-Federalists fearful that as drafted, the Constitution created a central government that may have the opportunity to become a tyranny. These fears were based on the memory of the British violation of basic civil rights before and during the American Revolution. With past British tyranny as a frame of reference, the Anti-Federalists demanded that a "bill of rights" be written that would clarify without question the immunities of individual citizens. Though the amendments of the Bill of Rights were not proposed until 1789, several state conventions during their ratification conventions ratified the Constitution with the understanding that the amendments would be offered.
One of the fears regarding the proposal of the Bill of Rights was that by trying to protect specific rights, it might imply that any unmentioned rights would not be protected. It was believed by many that as a result, the Bill of Rights was actually unnecessary, for in the British system of common law natural rights were not defined nor quantified. Adding a Bill of Rights to the Constitution may actually limit the rights of the people to those listed in the Constitution. As a result of this argument, included in the Bill of Rights is the Ninth Amendment.
Another argument against the Bill of Rights is that the ten amendments muddy the waters of the Constitution, because the first seven articles were designed to grant authorities to the federal government, and if an authority is not granted, the federal government does not have the power. The Bill of Rights tells the federal government what it cannot do. This enables those who oppose the Constitution to claim that the Constitution does not only grant express powers. By focusing on the Bill of Rights, the opposition responds to constitutional challenges with the question, “Where in the Constitution does it say the federal government can’t do that?” Considering the Bill of Rights was not even necessary, this provides unnecessary ammunition to those that oppose the Constitution.

Socialism Rising Up as Soviets Predicted

When I hear the banter by the leftists about hating corporations, the one percent versus the poor down-trodden, the ills of capitalism, and how without government we'd all just be lost souls, I am reminded that I have heard that kind of rhetoric before. . .
I was in the military during the Cold War. Anyone that tells you that the Cold War was not a hot war is a liar. The enemy was communism, because socialism stands for everything that the American System does not. If ever there was an ideology that threatens to destroy liberty, it is the authoritarianism of socialism. The Soviet Union spewed all kinds of propaganda about the evil corporations, how the American System was designed to keep the rich rich, and the poor poor, the Soviets continuously proclaimed the failings of capitalism, and how without a ruling elite the goal of utopia could never be reached - just like today's liberal democrats.
Europe has been drowning in the consequences of its socialism, and for just a moment it looked as if the reality of impending doom would make them move away from the destructive ideology. The people in France, however, voted to keep their goodies from the government, even though there is no money left. The socialist candidate in France's election proclaimed he would tax the rich rather than resort to austerity measures. He won the election, and the rich are jumping ship as fast as they can. France has turned left, again, and has turned its back on fiscal responsibility while embracing the failed ideology of socialism.
Francois Hollande is a socialist with a capital S, campaigning on the promise of a big government, and a platform very similar to Barack Obama's. He appealed to a populace fearing losing their gifts from the treasury, promising to reverse Sarkozy's relatively conservative fiscal policy decisions - promising to raise taxes on big corporations and the wealthy with a top tax rate of 75%, while increasing public spending, raising the minimum wage, hiring more government workers, lowering the retirement age, and doing what he can for the struggling youth.
In other words, all of the ingredients for an unmitigated economic disaster.
This all sounds familiar because Hollande's policies mirror those of Barack Obama. What has been the result, however, has not been renewed prosperity, but a deepening of our economic woes, trillions of wasted dollars on stimulus plans, bail outs, and other unconstitutional spending, government controlled health care knocking at the door, federal favors for labor unions, and yes, a promise to soak the rich and corporations with punitive taxation.
In other words, all of the ingredients for an unmitigated economic disaster.

In America we have not yet gone beyond the point of no return. There is still time to turn this around. But it will not be an easy process. Like an aircraft carrier making a U-Turn, it will take time, patience, and a lot of work.

Obama Seeks Gay Vote

Whatever benefits the liberal most at the moment.
When President Obama was still Presidential Candidate Obama, because the polls said that most people believed marriage is defined as being between a man and a woman, Barack Obama claimed the same. Meanwhile, so as not to lose the gay vote, he also indicated he planned to eliminate "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" from the military rule book.
Obama's presidency has not made the strides toward assisting the gay agenda as he promised, and the homosexual voting block has been feeling dissed by him. Barry's socialist agenda, massive spending, and a whole laundry list of other actions, has angered many Americans, and he is fully aware that re-election to the presidency is hardly a shoe-in. Barack Obama is pandering to every liberal group he can, while also demonizing his opposition as much as possible hoping to demoralize the republican voters right out of the voting booth. Among those groups he seeks votes from, are those that support the gay agenda.
Joe Biden recently came out in support of gay marriage, and the media went crazy, because the admission opposed Barry's position from his days as a candidate. Biden was accused of letting loose yet another gaffe, putting his foot in his mouth, and forcing Obama to take a position - and I think it was planned to play out as it has all along.
Biden didn't accidentally let the cat out of the bag. The planners and handlers of the Obama administration carefully concocted this so that the administration could appeal to the gay vote, while also keeping Obama from having to take a position.
The problem for the Obama administration, however, was that people wanted more. They desired that Barry come out with a position on the issue. Fine. Obama's speech writers came up with a grand soliloquy, where Barack explains his evolution, his observances of loving gay couples, telling a story that seems to be more designed to convince America to evolve with him, than to clarify his stance.
The truth of what is rattling around in Barry's skull may never be known, because Obama is now in support of gay marriage because he needs the votes, and it best benefits his campaign to take that position.
What is amazing about all of this is a few decades ago we would never have dreamed that gay marriage would be an issue. It was commonly accepted that homosexuality, while a reality in our society, is an unnatural lifestyle. It was also commonly understood that gays wanted nothing to do with marriage. They mocked marriage. They condemned marriage as a dying institution of a religiosity they wanted nothing to do with.
Then, the homosexual agenda realized that "demanding the right to marry" would further their cause much faster, and efficiently, than ridiculing the institution. What better way to destroy marriage than to demand it for those that it was never intended? Then, they could claim it to be a constitutional right, which would give the gay agenda the ultimate tool, for then they could use it to force those that oppose their lifestyle to marry them, and then bring lawsuits against churches for violating their constitutional right to marry when a church refuses. "What a great idea," I am sure many of the members of the gay community have been thinking. . . destroy marriage, and the church, in one fell swoop.
Obama could care less about all of that. He just wants their votes - and he is willing to play them like a fiddle to get them, as the States work in the other direction.

Reverend Sharpton: Right to Vote

Reverend Al Sharpton is standing up for voter's rights, he believes. He calls Voter ID Laws the evolution of Jim Crowe Laws, and he claims Missouri's attempt to enact Voter ID Laws is a "war on black people, it’s war on women, it’s war on immigrants. … We have got to turn this around and start targeting in Missouri those legislators that want to roll back our right to vote!"

Except there is no war on black people, there is no war on women, there is no war on immigrants, and there is no attempt by anybody to roll back his right to vote.
Sharpton is a great manipulator, and he is using one of the favorite tools of the liberal left. Facts and the truth mean nothing to these people. All they have to do is come up with some trumped up accusations, start pointing fingers, use their allies in the media to get their message out in the manner they intend, and watch the sheep fall in line.
The war on black people he refers to stems from the Trayvon Martin case, where there is no evidence of racism, and the shooter George Zimmerman, who is being labeled as an angry white man, is actually half Hispanic. Images of Trayvon in his youth are being plastered all over the news, while more recent images of the teenage thug have been buried. Meanwhile, never mind attacks against whites, "for Trayvon Martin." Never mind that Sharpton is inciting violence. Never mind that racism against whites in attack after attack is ignored by the press.

There is no war on women, either. The accusation was set into motion when GOP Presidential Candidate Rick Santorum revealed his personal feelings that birth control promotes bad sexual behavior. Since Santorum, and his Catholic Faith, have a problem with contraception, the democrats automatically accused the republicans of wanting to take away women's "right to birth control." No republican ever made any statement supporting using the government to take away anybody's contraception. The democrats simply rolled abortion into the birth control mix, and made the accusation louder. Never mind the fact that despite Santorum's, or a number of other conservatives' opinion against abortion, or the promotion of birth control methods, conservatism is all about limited government, which means they would never try to use the federal government to enforce such a ridiculous ban. The facts, however, doesn't matter, and like usual the silly lies of the Left are shouted far and wide despite no truth to what they are saying. Meanwhile, the democrats themselves have been waging a war on motherhood, and we are hearing not even a peep about that from the press.

There is no war on immigrants, either. Conservatives, Republicans, and other non-leftists, love immigrants. The arrival of new immigrants is a part of what has made this country great. People from other countries have flocked to America seeking the freedom she offers, and the opportunity to pursue happiness. These immigrants came with the intention to become Americans, assimilate, and add to the flavor of the United States. Illegal immigrants do not share these same goals. Illegal aliens seek to take from the system, for the most part, and by the very act of entering the country illegally they have shown a complete disregard for our laws.
Sharpton's attack is an attempt to demonize The Right through his tactics of public manipulation and armory of lies. The specific target he is aiming at is Voter ID Laws. Al Sharpton is claiming that requiring an ID to prove who you are, and that you are the person on the voting roster you say you are, is racist, and an attack against blacks, women, and immigrants. According to Sharpton, and his hard left liberal buddies, Voter ID Laws are an attempt to return to the days when some States imposed a poll tax in order to keep blacks from voting.
The privilege to vote is only given to those that are citizens of this country. Non-citizens do not have the right to participate in our elections. A Voter ID Law protects against voter fraud. So why, then, would liberal leftists like Sharpton be against such laws?
The liberal agenda can't win on its agenda, so they must destroy the opposition while lying about their own agenda to win votes. In addition to these tactics, they also buy votes with promises of entitlements, and other government handouts, hoping that the desire to be dependent upon the government becomes a more important issue to the voters than the other issues.
Since many of the candidates of the Republican Party are now willing to expose the liberal lies, the democrats have gone into full attack mode, using any argument they can, from racism to sexism, when it is liberalism that has truly been the enemy of minorities and women. The democrats have created a poverty class, and have increased its numbers, with their entitlement programs, literally enslaving Americans by making them dependent upon the government. They have supported legislation to murder the unborn, destroy the family unit, and divide Americans into groups so that they may divide and conquer while pandering to the different groups and promising to solve the chaos they created between the groups. Through the class warfare they create scapegoats, and promise peace as they seek to further divide.
Al Sharpton is a willing accomplice, fully aware of what he is doing, and fully willing to destroy this nation as founded for the promise of money and power through a growing government bureaucracy intent on eliminating individuality, choice, and ultimately the system of liberty this nation has prospered by for over two hundred years.
The Left calls what they are doing a defense of the right to vote, but they really want to continue the voter fraud they need to win elections. Voter ID Laws will eliminate the fraud, eliminate votes cast by illegal aliens, and fraudulent voting by people encouraged by voter fraud campaigns by groups like ACORN. Without the fraud, without the class warfare, and without division among the various groups, they are powerless.
Which is what separates The Right from The Left. The Left sees this nation as groups that need to be manipulated, controlled, and made dependent upon the ruling elite. The Right sees this nation as being populated by individual Americans.

There is no war on immigrants, either. Conservatives, Republicans, and other non-leftists, love immigrants. The arrival of new immigrants is a part of what has made this country great. People from other countries have flocked to America seeking the freedom she offers, and the opportunity to pursue happiness. These immigrants came with the intention to become Americans, assimilate, and add to the flavor of the United States. Illegal immigrants do not share these same goals. Illegal aliens seek to take from the system, for the most part, and by the very act of entering the country illegally they have shown a complete disregard for our laws.
Sharpton's attack is an attempt to demonize The Right through his tactics of public manipulation and armory of lies. The specific target he is aiming at is Voter ID Laws. Al Sharpton is claiming that requiring an ID to prove who you are, and that you are the person on the voting roster you say you are, is racist, and an attack against blacks, women, and immigrants. According to Sharpton, and his hard left liberal buddies, Voter ID Laws are an attempt to return to the days when some States imposed a poll tax in order to keep blacks from voting.
The privilege to vote is only given to those that are citizens of this country. Non-citizens do not have the right to participate in our elections. A Voter ID Law protects against voter fraud. So why, then, would liberal leftists like Sharpton be against such laws?
The liberal agenda can't win on its agenda, so they must destroy the opposition while lying about their own agenda to win votes. In addition to these tactics, they also buy votes with promises of entitlements, and other government handouts, hoping that the desire to be dependent upon the government becomes a more important issue to the voters than the other issues.
Since many of the candidates of the Republican Party are now willing to expose the liberal lies, the democrats have gone into full attack mode, using any argument they can, from racism to sexism, when it is liberalism that has truly been the enemy of minorities and women. The democrats have created a poverty class, and have increased its numbers, with their entitlement programs, literally enslaving Americans by making them dependent upon the government. They have supported legislation to murder the unborn, destroy the family unit, and divide Americans into groups so that they may divide and conquer while pandering to the different groups and promising to solve the chaos they created between the groups. Through the class warfare they create scapegoats, and promise peace as they seek to further divide.
Al Sharpton is a willing accomplice, fully aware of what he is doing, and fully willing to destroy this nation as founded for the promise of money and power through a growing government bureaucracy intent on eliminating individuality, choice, and ultimately the system of liberty this nation has prospered by for over two hundred years.
The Left calls what they are doing a defense of the right to vote, but they really want to continue the voter fraud they need to win elections. Voter ID Laws will eliminate the fraud, eliminate votes cast by illegal aliens, and fraudulent voting by people encouraged by voter fraud campaigns by groups like ACORN. Without the fraud, without the class warfare, and without division among the various groups, they are powerless.
Which is what separates The Right from The Left. The Left sees this nation as groups that need to be manipulated, controlled, and made dependent upon the ruling elite. The Right sees this nation as being populated by individual Americans.

And I bet just from the titles of the headlines you can tell who the liberal media outlet is, and which one isn't. . . and which candidate is the GOP Establishment RINO, and which one is a TEA Party Conservative.
My assessment of all of this is that my optimism that the TEA Party realignment of the GOP is still taking place is well founded. . . Don't let the demoralization many feel because Romney is getting the GOP nod get you down. The TEA Party is still in the fight, and stronger than ever.

Rick Santorum Formally Endorses Mitt Romney
Rick Santorum has officially endorsed Mitt Romney, and notified his supporters in an email sent Monday night.
In the email, the former presidential candidate cited his Friday meeting with Romney in his hometown of Pittsburgh as a reason he finally got behind the presumptive GOP nominee.
"On Friday, Governor Romney came to Pittsburgh for an over-hour long one-on-one meeting," Santorum said in the email. "The conversation was candid, collegial and focused on the issues that you helped me give voice to during our campaign; because I believe they are essential ingredients to not only winning this fall, but turning our country around."

Paul Ryan: Obama's 'Julia' website 'creepy' and 'demeaning'
House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said Friday that the Obama campaign's new website — which uses a fictionalized woman named Julia to illustrate how the president's policies help female voters — is "creepy" and "demeaning."
“It suggests that this woman can’t go anywhere in life without Barack Obama’s government-centered society. It’s kind of demeaning to her,” Ryan said during a constituent meeting in Wisconsin, the National Review reports. “She must have him and his big government to depend on to go anywhere in life. It doesn’t say much about his faith in Julia.”

Obama's Unconstitutional Executive Orders

President Barack Obama continues to completely disregard Congress. It is his goal make Congress irrelevant. That is what authoritarians do. . . they work to eliminate individual voices, and any chance of opposition against their policies of big government.
The problem is that Obama's Executive Orders are illegal. He is using them in lieu of legislation and treaties. When it comes to legislation, the executive has no legislative powers. That means whenever he modifies a law, creates regulations on laws that are not on the books, or creates new policies, with his executive orders, he is acting illegally. His recent executive order seeking to implement international law is also unconstitutional. Any treaties with foreign entities must be ratified by the U.S. Senate.
This is why it is so important that we get his Marxist out of the White House. I may not be a huge fan of Romney, but I do believe he would abide by the limitations on the powers of the presidency.

Obama's "Forward" has been used before. . .
Obama's new campaign slogan is "Forward." The President is trying to convince the masses that four years was not enough time to implement his Hope and Change. He continues to blame Bush, the Republicans, and anyone else he can point a finger at. Never mind that the Democrats gained control of Congress two years before he took office, during the first two years of his presidency the Democrats had control of both Houses, and the control of the House of Representatives right now is not enough to stop his madness...still, he blames the Republicans.
Barack Obama is unable to run on his record. Nothing has worked out as he had planned. He got what he wanted, but the destructive results have America determined to get him out of office.
Since there are no positive achievements he can tout, other than Osama bin Laden's death, which was made possible because of Bush's policies regarding terrorism, the democrats and their liberal media has gone on the attack, and lie.
The claim that Obama has saved millions of jobs is false, the dropping unemployment number is being manipulated largely by not counting those that are no longer receiving unemployment benefits, and by also shrinking the overall size of the workforce. Many of Obama's other claims, such as ending Don't Ask Don't Tell, is social engineering, and recognized as such by the populace. The government intrusion into banking, the auto industry, and the seizure of the student loan industry ranks Obama right up there with other fascists of history. His war on oil has caused energy costs to skyrocket, and even democrats have questioned his handling of the Keystone Pipeline. Obama's rising National debt is more than all past presidents, combined, and he has decided with all of that madness, "Forward" was his best bet as a slogan.
"Forward" is a word used often in history, by socialist and communist movements. In 1905, Vladimir Lenin, leader of the Soviet revolution in Russia, founded a publication called "Vpered," the Russian word for "Forward." Before that, Friedrich Engels and Leon Trotsky wrote for one called "Vorwaerts," the German word for "Forward." The Communist League featured a biweekly reader by the same name, with which Karl Marx and Engels were involved.
It is no surprise, then, that Obama will begin his campaign (officially) on May 5, which just happens to be Marx's birthday.
Government intrusion into private industries, and the redistribution of wealth, are ideas right in line with socialist, fascist and communist philosophies - and such growth of government is seen as progression by the liberal left as well. "Forward," even though he has set us backward, is appropriate when you understand who Obama truly is.
