Walter Cronkite Dies At The Age of 92

"And that's the way it is."

One of the most revered newsmen in American history has died. The CBS newsman was considered by Americans of his era to be the "most trusted man in America".

The face of CBS' Evening News, Walter Cronkite was an unflappable voice of the news, providing the current events in an objective manner that led Americans to love him dearly. He covered historical events from JFK's assassination, to the Apollo 11 lunar walk.

Walter Cronkite epitomized journalism as it should have been. He was fair and balanced, and provided the facts in an unwavering manner that helped you to realize that there was no agenda - aside from getting you the information you needed to be informed.

The mainstream media will recognize him as one of the greats, but will never follow in his footsteps. They are unable to. They are too invested in agenda to be as principled as Mr. Cronkite.

Fair thee well, Walter Cronkite. Your memory lives on.
