French President Sarkozy: Multiculturalism

France's Sarkozy: Multiculturalism is a failure - fostering extremism.

Following in the footsteps of other European leaders, like British Prime Minister David Cameron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, has determined that multiculturalism is a failure.

"It's a failure," Sarkozy said of multiculturalism. "The truth is that, in all our democracies, we've been too concerned about the identity of the new arrivals and not enough about the identity of the country receiving them."

As Europe realizes the truth, primarily due to the problems they have been having with Muslims, the United States seems to just not get it.

Italy went so far as to declassify Islam as a religion.

Islam is a political, societal, and economic ideology masking as a religion. The very fact that Islam's law, Sharia, is replacing the laws of the host countries in Muslim neighborhoods shows you that Islam is an ideology that does not assimilate. Fact is, Islam is what Muhammad was. . . a conquerer.

British Prime Minister Cameron last week also stated that multiculturalism had failed and left young British Muslims vulnerable to radicalism.

German Chancellor Merkel said the same last October.

Problem is, nowadays in countries, rather than assimilate into society, immigrants want "social justice," hand-outs from the government.

Sarkozy has upset many in France, including believing Muslims, Catholics and Jews, by stressing the positive role faith can play in civil society. French politicians prefer to keep religion out of the public sphere as much as possible. Yep, that's really worked out well, right?
