The re-education camps of lore, used by despotic tyrannies during the darkest moments of the world's history, seems to be a good idea to leftists - especially if a rodeo clown dares to mock his highness, the great and powerful Wizard of Obama.
After being fired and banned from ever doing his job again in the State of Missouri, the rodeo clown that dared to don an Obama mask in mockery of the President, has now, by his actions, encouraged a cry by the Missouri State Fair organization to "force all clowns to undergo sensitivity training."
In other words, in their best Orwellian impression, "think the way we want you to think, or you will be punished, and taught to rethink your thinking."
Back in the first decade of this new millennium it was thought to be a courageous act if you were to a clown wearing a Bush mask, and a Hitler mustache.
By the way, I used to have a picture of someone dressed as a clown with a George W. Bush mask on, and a Hitler mustache. I even saw that image a couple days ago on Facebook, but I didn't tag it or share it. In fact, in the past, and on Facebook, I've seen numerous images like that. Now, on Google, no matter how much I searched those images, I could not find them. It is almost as if Google has removed any reference to those images in an attempt to hide the hypocrisy of the Left. You know, by getting so damn upset that somebody would dare act in a manner deemed disrespectful to their prophet, messiah, and all-powerful leader.
The state fair commission voted ratify its decision to ban for life the clown in question who wore an Obama mask. The rodeo announcer and a second clown wearing a microphone asked whether the crowd wanted to see him get run down by a bull.
The crowd enthusiastically approved.
Now, I want people to understand that generally, people who oppose Obama could care less about his racial heritage. it is his politics, and total disregard to the Constitution that has people so tee'd off with him. It is the liberal Democrats that always bring a racial component into the argument. That said, I have no doubt regarding the political persuasion of the spectator who, according to one account of the instance, compared it to a Ku Klux Klan rally and said his mixed-race family felt threatened.
The Missouri State Fair commission went further than just banning the offensive rodeo clown. Now, they will require that before the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association can take part in any future state fair, “they must provide evidence to the director of the Missouri State Fair that they have proof that all officials and subcontractors of the MRCA have successfully participated in sensitivity training.”
How long before governments jump on that bandwagon, requiring sensitivity training for any political dissidents? How long before they wrap up their assault on speech rights?
With "hate crime" legislation already in place, it may not be that far down the road.
Stalin would be proud of today's Democrats.
