All but France and President Barack Obama thinks a military strike against Syria is a bad idea. Though the U.S. Senate is going along with Barry's idea, the House of Representatives plans not to. There is no national security justification, and even the evidence that it was the Syrian government that gassed those people is dubious. Even Russia's Vladimir Putin is saying that military intervention is a bad idea. Assad is allies with Iran, and the rebels are connected to terrorist groups like al-Qaeda and The Muslim Brotherhood.
And Republican Congressman Ken Calvert is undecided on this.
The answer is obvious, but Mr. Calvert is so entrenched in the establishment that his B.S. detector has somehow gone on the fritz. He is so much a part of Washington that he is willing to side with a hard left Democrat on an issue in the Middle East, who, by the way, has a failed record, so far, in that region.
The Founding Fathers called this kind of international meddling a "Foreign Entanglement. "
Mr. Calvert seems not to worry about what is best for this country, because he thinks siding with the liberal Democrats and progressive Republicans is what's best for his career as a professional politician.
If I were in Congress this very moment I would be a loud and and staunch opponent to Mr. Obama's desire to send a military strike against Syria.
